Reviews motivate me to keep going and I'm so glad that even though I'm still a small Indie author, I'm actually starting to get them. You don't know how much this means to me ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ™

It shows me that, bit by bit, people are willing to give my story a chance and so far they have been really enjoying it (imagine hearing that as the author, it's so incredible ๐Ÿฅบ)

I realise now it is hard to be a new author and a debut indie author on top of that.
But I don't want to give up and receiving one of my first reviews for my book and knowing that another person sincerely enjoyed my story touches my heartโค๏ธ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿ™

I still remember when I was making this illustration. It was on a very warm day and I decided to sit down and put on some lofi to try making it with an art program that I only recently bought.

I had so much fun and safe to say Iโ€™ve been using the same program ever since haha ๐Ÿ˜Š

Iโ€™m hard at work getting the 2D teaser for my book Happy Trails ready and thought seeing this onion glory might be an interesting bit of insight into the process for you๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”†

Itโ€™s a mess, right? ๐Ÿ˜‚
But a useful mess! Usually you would use it while drawing the sharp animation frames in the black&white phase, and it is so helpful when trying to track which motion happened when so there you go!

With the 2D teaser in the making I also had a great session where I planned all around the visual themes of Happy Trails itself๐ŸŒŠโ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒ‘๐Ÿ”ฅ
In the process I came up with this neat template, which Iโ€™m planning to use for quotes๐Ÿ“•
I love drawing waves, theyโ€™re incredibly soothing and a part of Milourโ€™s ever interesting atmosphere and surroundings๐ŸŒŠโœจ๐Ÿ‘
