Finally the group exhibition "Vol.1" opens it's doors today for the preopening.
Public opening will be tomorrow, June 4th.

Today it's exactly one year ago when @hera_herakut and I finished this mural painting on the walls of @ddcfactory Schweinfurt, Germany. Curated by @yashayoungprojects.

Today I show you something different from my latest works. This time I used the wooden surface for a nice cutout to strengthen the abstract parts of the work and also get to work in a more three dimensional way.
Nice side effect is to see how the shape of the cutout creates some nice and playful shadows on the wall. I think there will be more if that stuff what do you think?

Time for a fresh up
Sometimes there's a point when you see an older artwork and you know you could do it better today.
This canvas just returned from 19Karen Gallery in Australia, where it was shown a few years but was not sold.
So I decided to fresh it up a little bit. New colors, more details....the fresh version will be exhibited in my upcoming group show @galerie_gutleut
this spring.
It is titled "circle of sorrow ", which couldn't be more appropriate these days....

And this is the second drawing I've created for the extended "papers please" exhibition @colab_gallery.
Its a new part of the "multiplier" series, I've started a few years ago. Always following the idea that all human beings are one and the same species and we all are created equal. This is why I also play with different skin tones within these works.

Only one week to go until the opening of this stunning group exhibition!
Colab Gallery (Weil am Rhein, Germany) will show a brought collection of artists from the past years, featuring positions from all genres strictly connected to and influenced by the street. Graffiti art and beyond at its best.
So I am more than happy to be part of the show. You will find 2 of my latest colored pencil drawings which I created during that long period of lockdown.
