Personally, the best escape room in Munich, even if it was just a quick bite

We tried this REM pop-up experience… and it wasn’t a game.
It felt more like being stuck inside a story you don’t fully understand.

At some point you stop trying to “solve” things
and start questioning everything instead.

The atmosphere?
Somewhere between dream, nightmare, and
“I kinda want out… but also need to know what happens next.” 😅

Afterwards we randomly walked into next door…
and yeah, I ended up buying the book.

Started reading the same night.
Finished it by the end of the weekend.

Me finishing a book voluntarily?
Yeah… that doesn’t happen often.

Same vibe as the experience:
slightly uncomfortable, a bit confusing at times,
but impossible to put down.

It’s amazing what everyone involved has created there

✨📚 Pop-Up Escape Room – Ever & After: The Last Hour by Stella Tack 🔍🪞

The prince has awakened—and with him, magic has returned. But instead of a fairytale dream, you’re faced with hidden puzzles, deadly vassals, and a shattered mirror. As descendants of famous fairytale families, it’s up to you to defeat the seven vassals and piece the mirror back together to restore the world. Succeed, and you’ll even be granted a wish… 👑

This Pop-Up Escape Room is based on the book “The Last Hour” from the Ever & After series by —and you can truly feel that dark, magical atmosphere in every single puzzle! ✨

We experienced this adventure as a group of four and absolutely loved it! One of the highlights: even the two younger members of our team were able to actively participate and solve some of the puzzles. The challenges are creative, varied, and designed so everyone can contribute.

My wife— is a total book lover 📖—was immediately inspired to start reading the series afterward. I’ll stick to solving puzzles 😄, but the world of Ever & After definitely sparked my curiosity.

Conclusion: A fantastic Pop-Up Escape Room with a unique fairytale twist, engaging puzzles, and great team fun. Highly recommended for fans of escape games and fantasy! 🗝️✨

🗝️ Escape Room Review – Toronto 🗝️

During our Christmas vacation in Toronto, a visit to an escape room was a must. 🎄🇨🇦
That’s how we ended up at Roundabout Canada Escape Room – super centrally located and easily accessible by subway.

We were warmly welcomed and, after a short introduction, the game started right away. We played “Back to the Mummy”, their beginner-level room. As a helping tool, you get a hint book that you can use (or not 😉). There’s also the option to receive hints via phone if needed.

The room itself is a classic escape room with number, letter, and directional locks. The puzzles are logical and don’t have to be solved in a strictly linear order, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. 🔐🧩

Overall, it was a really fun change from sightseeing and worth a visit if you’re in Toronto! 🙌

🎉 JGA Kick-off at Final Quest Escape Room Rednitzhembach 🔐✨

The perfect start to our JGA escape tour! We played both rooms at , and after the first one it was already clear how much passion and craftsmanship went into these games.

⚡ Blackout was our opener and instantly pulled us in. The atmosphere is tense and immersive, the puzzles are logically structured, fair, and flow perfectly from one to the next. Nothing feels random or unnecessary – every challenge makes sense and really encourages teamwork without ever becoming frustrating.

🌿🗿 Jumaniac took the experience to another level. The room is beautifully designed with incredible attention to detail and feels more like a true adventure than a classic escape room. The puzzles are creative, varied, and clearly stand out from standard concepts. You can really feel the unique signature and the high-quality, hands-on construction throughout the entire game.

Both rooms feel thoughtfully designed, well-built, and consistently engaging from start to finish. Exactly the kind of escape experience you want for a JGA: exciting, challenging, fair – and most of all, a lot of fun.

Final Quest was the perfect kick-off to our JGA – a creative, high-quality escape experience with real personality 🥂💍
Highly recommended for anyone looking for more than just a standard escape room!

🗝️ Yagami’s Contract – absolutely top notch! 🗝️

We played Yagami’s Contract – together with Roman, who has played over 100 escape rooms and is also the owner of .de , and Höfli, who has played over 750 rooms. With this experience under our belts, we can say quite clearly: this room is absolutely top notch.

The flow is outstanding from start to finish, the puzzles are varied, clever, and perfectly integrated into the story. We were particularly impressed by the extremely detailed decor, which creates an intense and immersive atmosphere throughout.

✨ Light and sound work together perfectly to enhance each scene – everything feels high-quality, coherent, and thought out down to the smallest detail.

For us, Yagami’s Contract is a room that sets standards and will remain in our memories for a long time.

Escape Company & Bar St. Gallen

Wir haben kürzlich zwei Räume gespielt und hatten ein durchweg positives Escape-Room-Erlebnis.

🪄 World of Magic
Der Raum entführt einen sofort in eine liebevoll gestaltete Zauberwelt. Die Atmosphäre ist stimmig, die Rätsel sind kreativ eingebunden und machen gemeinsam richtig Spaß. Ein charmantes Abenteuer, das von Anfang an begeistert.

💀 The Cursed Skull
Dieser Raum hat uns besonders beeindruckt. Die dichte, mysteriöse Atmosphäre, die spannende Story und die abwechslungsreichen, logisch aufgebauten Rätsel greifen perfekt ineinander. Jeder Spielabschnitt fühlt sich durchdacht an und sorgt für konstante Spannung – ein echtes Highlight.

🍹 Fazit
Die Escape Company & Bar St. Gallen überzeugt mit kreativen Konzepten, starker Atmosphäre und viel Liebe zum Detail. Beide Räume haben uns sehr gut gefallen, wobei The Cursed Skull besonders in Erinnerung bleibt. Ein rundum gelungenes Erlebnis – wir kommen gerne wieder.sg

✨ Kaleidoskop 1963 – Time Maze Baden ✨

Was für ein Erlebnis! 🤩 Wir hatten wirklich richtig viel Spaß im Kaleidoskop 1963 – von der ersten Sekunde an. Und der Start? Komplett anders als man es von üblichen Escape Rooms kennt. Überraschend, kreativ und unglaublich immersiv. Genau so etwas lieben wir! 💛

Die Räume sind liebevoll gestaltet, voller kleiner Details, die man erst nach und nach entdeckt. Die Rätsel sind abwechslungsreich, logisch aufgebaut und wunderbar in die Story integriert – man merkt sofort, wie viel Herzblut und Feingefühl hier drinsteckt. 🧩✨

Was unseren Besuch aber besonders gemacht hat, waren definitiv die Einblicke hinter die Kulissen. Danke an das Team für die spannenden Erklärungen, die Offenheit und die super angenehmen Fachgespräche über Game Design, Mechaniken und Storybuilding. 🙌 Das erlebt man nicht überall und zeigt, mit wie viel Leidenschaft Time Maze arbeitet.

We visited Escapist in Istanbul and played three rooms: Cargo, 1796, and Agatha’s Key. All three rooms impressed us. The puzzles are well-designed, varied, and definitely make you think outside the box.

We played as a team of four – two very experienced players and two with less experience – and it worked perfectly. The rooms are well-themed, detailed, and offer a great mix of classic locks, magnetic mechanisms, and technical effects.

We especially enjoyed the creative puzzles and some surprising moments along the way. Overall, a clear recommendation: If you’re in Istanbul and love escape rooms, Escapist is absolutely worth visiting.

We originally planned to visit the best antiquarian bookstore in Berlin – my wife, an absolute bookworm (), and I.
The idea was simple: old books, special stories, literary treasures.

Instead, we ended up “reading” three completely different books – at . And honestly: we could’ve never experienced stories like these in any bookstore.

📘 Frankenstein – Dark, atmospheric, incredibly intense. Like stepping straight into a classic horror novel.
📙 The Golden Phoenix – Bright, magical, almost fairytale-like. Every room felt like turning the page of a beautifully illustrated story.
📗 The Elevator – Modern, cinematic, full of twists. A thriller you live through instead of just reading.

We wanted to discover books.
But that day, we stepped into three worlds – so vivid, exciting, and detailed that we’re still talking about them.

Final verdict: Miraculum Berlin feels like a library of real-life adventures where you become the main character. A must-do for anyone who doesn’t just want to read stories, but truly experience them. ✨🔐

For our 10th wedding anniversary, we wanted something special — so we went to Berlin and played all four rooms at The Room Escape. And honestly? We were blown away. Each room pulled us into a completely different world, full of atmosphere, tension and beautifully crafted puzzles.

As a two-person team we were totally in the flow — huge thanks to the Gamemasters for the immersive hosting… and sorry for keeping your job easy 😅

Brandon Darkmoor – Ghost Hunter grabbed us immediately with its mystical vibe. You step straight into a haunting story that unfolds with every discovery.

Lost Treasure was pure adventure energy: stunning set design, warm explorer vibes and puzzles that feel incredibly satisfying to solve.

Go West pulls you into a historical mission with creativity, emotional moments and a strong sense of immersion. A room that really makes you feel part of the story.

And Beast of Berlin – Inferno was the perfect finale: dark, intense, atmospheric and building up to a powerful ending that completely drew us in.

Our conclusion: Four worlds. Four adventures. Each one exciting, beautifully designed and full of smart puzzles.
The Room Escape Berlin was the perfect anniversary experience — highly recommended.
