AM:plified sagt leise Servus – Ein Magazin geht in Pause
Bitburg, 12.04.2026 – Nach über vier Jahren und 3168 Artikeln zieht AM:plified den Stecker – vorerst. Ein persönlicher Rückblick auf Leidenschaft, Stress und Abschied.
Manchmal ist es nicht der große Knall, sondern ein leiser Fade-Out: Nach 3168 Artikeln und 4 Jahren sowie 4 Monaten verabschiedet sich AM:plified – Das Magazin für starke Musik vorerst aus der täglichen Berichterstattung.
Was einst aus purer Leidenschaft zur Musik entstand, entwickelte sich schnell zu mehr als nur einem Hobby. Nach ersten redaktionellen Erfahrungen bei Musicheadquarter wurde mit AM:plified ein eigenes Magazin aufgebaut – unabhängig, engagiert und immer nah dran an neuen Releases, spannenden Künstlern und der Szene selbst. Über die Jahre entstand ein dichtes Netzwerk aus Labels, PR-Agenturen, Veranstaltern und Musikschaffenden, die nicht nur Inhalte lieferten, sondern auch persönlich Spuren hinterließen.
Doch wo Leidenschaft auf Realität trifft, wird es irgendwann kompliziert. Denn hinter AM:plified stand kein großes Redaktionsteam, sondern im Kern eine Person, die alles stemmte: Texte, Bilder, Kommunikation und Organisation. Parallel dazu liefen ein Vollzeitjob, ein Nebengewerbe und das ganz normale Leben weiter. Das Resultat: viele großartige Momente – aber auch eine nicht zu unterschätzende Dauerbelastung.
Insbesondere in den vergangenen Monaten haben sich berufliche und private, auch gesundheitliche Rahmenbedingungen verändert. Und irgendwann kommt der Punkt, an dem man sich ehrlich fragen muss, ob alles noch tragbar ist. Die Antwort fiel nicht leicht, aber sie fiel klar aus: AM:plified wird vorerst pausiert.
Das ist kein Abschied im klassischen Sinne, sondern eher ein bewusst gesetzter Break im Arrangement. Vielleicht kommt irgendwann der Moment, an dem das Magazin ein Comeback feiert. Vielleicht auch nicht. Sicher ist nur: Die Erfahrungen, Begegnungen und Geschichten bleiben.
Ein großes Dankeschön geht an alle Labels, PR-Agenturen, Veranstalter und vor allem an die Künstlerinnen und Künstler, die AM:plified über die Jahre begleitet haben. Ohne euch wäre dieses Kapitel nie so intensiv, bunt und prägend gewesen.
Und ganz persönlich gilt mein besonderer Dank meiner Frau, die mich während dieser gesamten Zeit tatkräftig unterstützt hat. Sie hat mir den Rücken freigehalten, mir den nötigen Raum gegeben und dabei eine beeindruckende Portion Geduld und Leidensfähigkeit bewiesen. Ohne sie wäre AM:plified in dieser Form nicht möglich gewesen.
Und auch wenn es diesmal keine Tourdaten gibt, die angekündigt werden müssen: Die Reise durch die Musik endet hier nicht – sie verlagert sich nur.

AM:plified Signs Off Quietly – A Magazine Goes on Pause
Bitburg, 12.04.2026 – After more than four years and 3,168 articles, AM:plified is hitting pause – for now. A personal look back at passion, pressure, and farewell.
Sometimes it’s not a big bang, but a gentle fade-out: after 3,168 articles and 4 years and 4 months, AM:plified – The Magazine for Strong Music is stepping back from active publishing for the time being.
What once started as a deep passion for music quickly evolved into something much bigger. Following an initial period as a contributor at Musicheadquarter, AM:plified was launched as an independent online music magazine – driven, dedicated, and always close to new releases, exciting artists, and the scene itself. Over time, a strong network of labels, PR agencies, promoters, and musicians emerged – connections that didn’t just shape the magazine, but also left a lasting personal impact.
But when passion meets reality, things can become complicated. AM:plified was never backed by a large editorial team. Instead, it was largely a one-person operation handling everything: writing, photography, communication, and organization. Alongside a full-time job, a side business, and family life, this often meant juggling more than was sustainable in the long run. The result: many incredible moments – but also a constant underlying strain.
Especially over the past months, changes in both professional and personal life – including health-related factors – made it clear that continuing at this pace was no longer feasible. The decision didn’t come easily, but it became inevitable: AM:plified is being put on hold.
This is not a final goodbye, but rather a deliberate break in the arrangement. Maybe there will be a comeback someday. Maybe not. What remains certain are the experiences, the connections, and the stories that have shaped this journey.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to all labels, PR agencies, promoters, and most importantly the artists who have been part of AM:plified along the way. Without you, this chapter would never have been as rich, diverse, and meaningful.
And finally, a very personal thank you goes to my wife, who supported me tirelessly throughout this entire journey. She had my back at all times, kept things running when they needed to, and showed an incredible level of patience and resilience. Without her strength and understanding, AM:plified would not have been possible in this form.
And even though there are no tour dates to announce this time: the journey through music doesn’t end here – it simply shifts direction.
