first of all, thank you for organizing a fun, kinky, sex-positive christmas market. it´s super important to create such spaces and i really appreciate the effort, enthusiasm and work you put into organizing the event.
i want to bring up this year´s logo, though.
i find it inappropriate to have a picture of a dead animal in cuffs representing a kinky, BDSM event. since negotiation, consent and communication are vital in our community (and our great sense of pride), i don´t see how putting a slaughtered animal (now turned into a piece of meat, an object that can be hurt and killed because it has no value: for more on the topic i suggest "the sexual politics of meat" by carol j. adams) in a BDSM-context represents these values. animals cannot and didn´t give consent to be raised, slaughtered and consumed for food: this is the reality they live in, to be used and abused for human consumption and fun only. this is a very violent reality.
when animals are chained, cuffed, beaten and electrocuted, this is not part of a play scene (i understand very well how this can be part of a very hot scene including consenting humans who negotiated their wishes and expectations). this is oppression that´s not going away any time soon, and we humans are the perpetrators. this is why i think playing with this image (and images of meat / dead and living animals in general) in a BDSM, sex-positive context is impossible. hope you can understand where i´m coming from.
wishing you all a very kinky xmas ✨
