Entretempo Kitchen Gallery is an interdisciplinary art space aiming to research and explore food in a cultural and social context. Art becomes an extension of the kitchen – and food a common base for expressing and sharing thoughts and ideas. Entretempo was conceited by the artist and cook Tainá Guedes and explores the political and social impact of food as a manifestation of history, sociology, geography, science, philosophy and communication. "Mit der entretempo kitchen gallery verwirklicht Food Artist Tainá Guedes ihren Traum von einem Zentrum für ihre Koch-Kunst, die zugleich auch Lebensphilosophie ist. Denn Essen stiftet Sinn, Identität und Gemeinschaft. Essen ist wertvoll. Diesen Wert zu begreifen und die Ernährung in ihrer sozialen, politischen und kulturellen Dimensionen zu untersuchen – das ist die Mission von entretempo. Dabei ist die Herangehensweise stets künstlerisch-konzeptionell: Tainá nutzt ihre Speisen und Zutaten als Medium, etwa um damit auf gesellschaftliche Probleme aufmerksam zu machen oder um Gemeinschaft entstehen zu lassen. Ihre offizielle Opening Party feiert die kitchen gallery am 19. Juni. Dann hoffen wir, entretempo als Kunstraum und Veranstaltungsort in Prenzlauer Berg etablieren zu können, aber vor allem als einen Ort des Austauschs und Lernens. Wir wollen Treffpunkt und Info-Hub für alle in Berlin werden, die sich für die Themen Nachhaltigkeit, alternative Konzepte in der Lebensmittelproduktion und Ernährung interessieren. Ein Netzwerk aus Künstlern, Köchen, Designern, Wissenschaftlern, Gärtnern, Landwirten und Lebensmittel-Herstellern unterstützt uns dabei" Laura Stresing

Die momentane Situation bedeutet für uns alle dasselbe: zu Hause zu bleiben, wenn möglich, im Home Office zu arbeiten und Freunde nur noch im Videochat zu treffen. Klar ist das keine einfache Zeit, aber es gibt viele Menschen, für die dieser Zustand noch viel schwieriger ist als für uns.
Wir von Green Berlin möchten Menschen unterstützen, die sich in schwierigen Situationen befinden und nicht einfach in ihrer Wohnung bleiben können. Zum Beispiel Frauen und Kinder, für die ihr Zuhause keine Sicherheit bedeutet. Deswegen möchten wir zwei Frauenhäuser in Berlin mit Sachspenden unterstützen, die die Frauen und Kinder dort für ihren Alltag benötigen.
Frauenhäuser bieten diesen Frauen und Kindern Schutz, den sie in diesen Tagen mehr denn je brauchen. Dementsprechend sind die Frauenhäuser maximal ausgelastet und benötigen selbst Hilfe - unsere und eure Hilfe. Deswegen möchten und werden wir zwei Frauenhäuser in Berlin mit Sachspenden unterstützen, die die Frauen und Kinder dort für ihren Alltag mehr als dringend benötigen.

Das Frauenhaus Cocon bietet Frauen und Kindern Schutz, die von häuslicher Gewalt in ihren Beziehungen betroffen sind. Sie finden dort Unterstützung, ihrem Leben eine Perspektive zu geben und ihren Lebensunterhalt zu sichern. Die anonyme Zufluchtswohnung Papatya bietet Mädchen und jungen Frauen, die vor familiärer Gewalt und Zwangsheirat fliehen müssen, Schutz und Hilfe. Hier können sie zur Ruhe kommen und dann eine dauerhafte und sichere Lebensperspektive entwickeln.

An alle Berlinerinnen und Berliner da draußen: Wir brauchen euch! Egal, ob ihr zuhause Kleidung, Hygieneartikel/Kosmetikprodukte, gut erhaltenes Spielzeug für Draußen oder Drinnen, Instrumente oder Frauen- und Kinderfahrräder habt, die ihr gerne spenden möchtet – schreibt uns bis einschließlich 30.04. auf Instagram oder schreibt uns eine E-Mail an [email protected]!

Am 01.05. fahren wir in einer @weshare_de Kolonne quer durch Berlin und holen die Spenden bei euch zuhause ab. Das heißt: Kein Aufwand für euch, aber eine Person, die ihr damit glücklich machen könnt.

On the #WorldEarthDay we want to pay our homage to our planet, inviting you all to "cook our future together" - because the change can be creative and tasty! And each of us can do something from our kitchen. The change starts with ourselves, on our plate!

SBNE @filmreihe2030 informative online program aims to stimulate you to stay home, doing good practises for your health and for our environment. We invited Tainá Guedes, @tataisgram artist and cook to present another episode on topic of sustainable eating, bio diversity, climate change and waste.
Tainá challenged us to make an edible artwork using leftovers. She will be live from her kitchen in Berlin, next Wednesday, 7pm - Berlin time at @filmreihe2030 youtube channel, so make sure to subscribe to it! Get the ingredients at your favourite organic store. Give preference to local and fair products.

Remembering that some ingredients can be replaced, in case you don't find it, write on the comments, so we can help you out.

This year the world is celebrating for the 50th time the World Earth Day. We know that everyday is Earth Day and that we should be doing something for our planet every day, right? But how many of us can dedicate time for the others, for the animals, and/ or for the nature? We see that many people have no time to dedicate to our planet simply because they are fighting to survive. We think that if you are reading this is because you can afford some hours of your life to join us, be live or online, and help those who can’t be demonstrating or raising their voices for more equality.

If you got no plans on 22nd of April, please join us in Berlin at @foodartweek program! We will be offering 3 different workshops for school classes in the morning, art performances, cooking, seeds and seedlings exchanging market, discussions, and a public dinner. All around the topics seeds, bio-diversity, soil, and food waste. It is our way to get together for our planet. A mix of enjoyment and demonstration. A mix of food, art and education. A mix of school students, homeless, politicians and specialists. A mix of people building a community for more equality.

For many years we have been only taking from nature. Soils, specially on the cities are poor, and in need for good food. This year @foodartweek topic is seeds. A seed can’t grow without a nutritious soil. Without seeds there is no food, there is no life. It is not a superficial cause. It is a survival cause. Please join forces with us on World Earth Day, 22nd of April, at Steinplatz, Berlin.

If you got some time in the afternoon, at 1:30pm Students of public school Friedensburg OS will be cooking with leftovers at an arty mobile kitchen. Then you might like to get or exchange precious seeds and/ or little edible plants for your balcony/ garden. @lenarav from @crow_perch said she will have for sure some tasty tomatoes plants to give away! At 5pm we are inviting seeds and soil specialists to talk with us about all challenges in times of climate change, and what we can do to make it better. In the evening, we are doing a DEMOcratic white dinner, inviting you to bring some food to share, and make an statement with us. Because the change can be tasty. Because together, with little steps, with little seeds, we can attain big changes.
