The new festival “TransTraditionale – Music of the Global Present”, organized by Trickster Orchestra , opened with a performance by Taiwanese sheng musician Li-Chin Li as the opening guest. Together with Croatian saxophonist Grgur Savic , they delivered an improvised performance combining sound and physical movement.

Big weekend ahead! I’m beyond honored to kick off the TransTraditionale festival with the Trickster Orchestra.

I had an incredible time collaborating with Berlin’s last March; their unique energy is truly one of a kind. I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be joining them again for their very first Contemporary Music Festival, “TransTraditionale: Musikfest der globalen Gegenwart 2026,” taking place from April 24th to 26th.
Expect a mix of contemporary works, improvisation, and immersive interactions with space and people. Can’t wait to be back!

Hellooooo everyone!
A new project has just been born! Composers of all nationalities are warmly invited to create new works for the sheng and for me. We’ll meet in Milan at the end of January for a workshop, with the official performance scheduled for June. For more details, please check the link in bio.

It is a great honor to collaborate with the internationally renowned conductor Shao-Chia Lü and the TNUA Symphony Orchestra for the world premiere of composer Chia-Hui Chen’s Réplisome IV — a work for sheng, electronics, and orchestra, co-produced by the Taiwan Sound Lab, Taiwan Contemporary Culture Lab (C-LAB).
