I'm an illustrator from Berlin, Germany – I love drawing and creating ever since I can remember, so it has been only natural for me to become an artist and share my work with you. Here you can find my latest illustrations, hand-drawn maps, panoramic drawings and work-in-progress snapshots. Feel free to linger!
One of my biggest passions and source of inspiration is traveling. After living in New Zealand for my studies I have moved back to my home city Berlin. Most of my artwork is naturally based on my travel experience (like my illustrated maps), but I also love to draw from nature and animals. I get very absorbed in details, and some of my panoramic drawings can get up to 4 m long!

Bemerkungen
My last drawings from my stay at Naturpark Sächsische Schweiz. We went hiking along the shores of the Elbe river, then up to the steep Schrammsteine and on to Großer Winterberg and Kipphornaussicht. There was nobody around, the rocks all warm from the day’s sunshine and we could watch the sunset over the river and Festung Königstein. 🌄 And of course have a picnic!

More drawings from Elbsandsteingebirge (Sächsische Schweiz): Here’s a sketch of the old woodframe house that is part of the beer garden of the old watermill in Schmilka. You wouldn’t suspect is, but the second floor actually has a sauna. 🔥The drawing took me about an hour until the sun was setting over the Elbe river, here are the different stages. Magic! ✨

In December I went to see The Breakfast Club at the pop-up thf cinema @neuekammerspiele at Tempelhofer Flughafen 📽. It was great to spend time in that historic airport hall while watching such a movie classic. I especially loved the typography of the Restaurant sign (long gone of course). A look back to when I visited pretty Himmelpfort close to Fürstenberg. 🚲🌅 The medieval brewery of the historic monastery had once burnt down but its gothic walls are still standing. It’s a really nice place between lakes to spend an afternoon (there’s also a christmas santa post office 🎄📯). From my Brandenburg sketchbook.
