Sometimes it’s the first sunny days of spring that change everything ✨
Not just how we see art — but how we see ourselves.

Even after years of painting,
I’m still amazed by how light can transform a piece.
Some parts start to glow, others feel softer in the shadows…

And honestly, I think it’s the same with us 🤭

It’s okay to doubt yourself sometimes
and not always feel ready to step into the light.
Sometimes you just want to stay in the shadows…

But never forget that you are loved. 🩷

I could have gone outside to meet friends, take a walk, soak up the sun…
But instead, I stayed in — lying down, finishing my painting, singing along to the saddest songs.
And honestly? There couldn’t have been a better way to spend my Sunday.
Creating, singing, and getting lost in my thoughts felt exactly right.
Now the sun has set, and my painting is renewed. 🩷🩷🩷

Here comes my latest painting „Femme Florale“. It started out soooo different & something was obviously wrong with the Proportions…After a few months of doing nothing I decided to completely rework it without losing the idea of this female body sitting there Full of self-consciousness and sensuality. And „Femme Florale“ is the result. 🩷🩷🩷
