* * * Herzliche Einladung * * * 04. & 05. Mai in die * R E M I S E * Am Tempelhofer Berg 6 - 10965 Berlin - Aktions-Tag !
Anlässlich des " World Wet Plate Day 2019 " zelebrieren wir am Samstag, 04. und Sonntag, 05. Mai 2019 die Einführung der Nassplatten-Photographie durch Sir Frederic Scott Archer im Jahre 1851.
Es wird fotografiert was das Zeug hält - 5 Nassplaten-Photographen haben sich angekündigt - mit alten historischen Holz-Platten-Kameras - auf von Hand beschichteten Glasplatten - zuvor im Silber-Bad licht-sensibilisiert.
Der Portraitierte sitzt auf dem Stuhl - die Nackenstütze hält den Kopf, damit nichts verwackelt - dann die Belichtung, 15 Sekunden Ewigkeit.
Hierbei entstehen nicht nur einzigartige Unikate - das Verfahren einmal zu sehen ist an sich schon ein großartiges Erlebnis – selten genug - Der "Magische Moment" bringt dann das Silber-Bild zum Vorschein. Die Ambrotypie, gr*= unsterblich
Samstag Abend, mit Einbruch der Dunkelheit das Screening, das Nassplatten-Arbeiten von Photographen aus der ganzen Welt auf die Groß-Leinwand projeziert – daneben kreativer Austausch und Wissenswertes rund um die Photographie.
Das Ganze in der * R E M I S E * im Hof der ehemaligen Schultheiss-Brauerei, der heutigen Studio-Galerie des Photographen Daniel Samanns.
