Oh Hell | Trailer | ab 17.03. nur bei MagentaTV

We had a lot of fun editing and making animations for the new series „OH HELL“, starring Mala Emde and Edin Hasanovic and directed by Lisa Miller ❤️❤️ and Simon Ostermann 🧢🧢 .
The 8part series premiered this year at Berlinale Series and will be aired March 17th on MagentaTV and later this year on Warner TV Deutschland

+++ PROJECT 18: GHOSTGIRL +++

German XKOPP creative are responsible for this concept for a TV series as well as mobile content/app for 7- to 11-year-olds: Ghostgirl Jo lives with her ghostwolf in an old abandoned house in the forest village of Puddeling. One day Lisa moves in with her family and they both quickly become friends. The two kids search for a way for Jo to become human again, but find out that being a ghost is just fine, and that everyone else has to deal with it. Together they must solve the mystery of why the ghosts are disappearing from town, what the ghost queen has to do with it, and what machine the priest's son is building.

+++ 52 outstanding Projects for APD 2021 selected +++

Almost 100 projects were submitted for APD 2021, more than ever before! From the record number of submissions, our jury has selected 52 outstanding projects from 22 countries for a presentation at this year's APD. About 60% of the selected projects are TV series, 20% are feature films and another almost 20% are cross-media projects.

The wealth of styles, genres and topics was also extraordinarily among this year's submissions. Topics such as diversity, sexuality, origin and identity play a major role. In terms of animation techniques, the range extends from stop motion and puppet animation through classic 2D animation and CGI to motion capture technology. Hybrid forms combining live action and animation are also featured. And among the genres, there are projects for every target group, from adventure and comedy to gothic thriller, cyberpunk heist and drama.

Eight of the projects come from newcomers who qualified for participation through an application to the APD Talent Programme. A total of 14 free accreditations will be awarded to outstanding young talents this year.

Das wiederum gibt euch nun die Möglichkeit euch auch dabei zu sein. Das CEE-Forum ist eine Plattform um B2B neue Projekte zu pitchen und mit Fachleuten, Fernsehmenschen und potentiellen Koproduzent*innen aus Ost- und Zentraleuropa zusammenzufinden.

Unser Podium zum Thema WIE ANIMATION AUF ANDEREN WEGEN ERWACHSEN WIRD findet am 1. November 2019 von 11-12:30 Uhr in Leipzig im Zeitgeschichtlichen Forum statt.
