We opened a new gallery space in the heart of the contemporary art capital Berlin - Mitte. Our goal is to present the most innovative and intriguing contemporary art from emergent and established artists. The gallery strives to present a dynamic program of exhibitions of various generations of artists and is committed to publishing accompanying exhibition catalogues and artist`s books. Anaid Art G
allery is a contemporary art gallery representing many of the most significant artists of the 20th and 21st centuries. Founded by art historian Diana Dochia in 2004 in Bucharest, Romania, Anaid Art Gallery has been a constant, vital force in the romanian art world and has introduced many renowned artists’ work to the public for the first time. Over the past ten years the gallery has mounted more than 70 exhibitions, published nearly 30 exhibition catalogues including collaborations with museums and cultural centers.

Born in 1986, in Transylvania (Reghin), Romania, Mihai Florea is one of the leading young artists with exhibitions in New York, Istanbul, Berlin. Mihai Florea graduated from the University of Art, Bucharest, and works several years in the film industry. He got recognition with his figurative paintings that reflect alternative worlds multiply within an ephemeral reality. The artworks by Mihai Florea have been collected by a number of esteemed private collections from Germany, Belgium, the United States of America, Switzerland, Romania. Mihai Florea is represented by Anaid Art Gallery Bucharest/Berlin since 2011.
The artist lives and works in Bucharest.

His work is influenced by the free, timeless design of the surface with different materials in mostly three-dimensional representations. The strong impulses emanating from his works are unpleasant for some spectators. This discomfort often changes into fascination, as soon as one takes the time to "immerse" in his pictures and let the view wander. One cannot escape the magic of his works. He is regularly engaged by the Art Department as a Set/Standby Painter for Hollywood Productions in the Babelsberg Film Studios. As a Highlight, he and his Team received an Oscar for the artistic Work on the Film „The Grand Budapest Hotel". He works with Anaid Art Gallery Berlin since 2017.
