An evening of experimental sound, immersive visuals, and tactile noise at Lettrétage

Opening the event will be Baphomet Vernacular (Diana Fonseca), whose work navigates between the human auditory and the microscopic, exploring how hidden sonic landscapes can be revealed and amplified Following this, Kross Collective co-founder Days Like Television will present an enveloping A/V set of electronics, electric guitar, and found-footage visuals. Closing the evening is HOTARU - Tatsumi Ryusui & Makoto Sakamoto - exploring shifting layers of guitar harmonics and electronics.

Introducing the artists:

HOTARU is a guitar and electronics duo formed by Tatsumi Ryusui (guitar) and Makoto Sakamoto (electronics), both members of the Berlin-based experimental noise band Noctiluca. Derived from Noctiluca’s concept of layered colors and dense textures, HOTARU shifts the focus toward a more minimal and intimate sonic dialogue. Guitar harmonics and electronic sounds drift through space, occasionally flashing as sharp noise, slowly transforming like an evolving abstract drawing.

Introducing the artists:

Daniel Bryden is an experimental artist currently based in Berlin who releases music as Days Like Television. Using an array of dissociated sound sources and fragmented synths, Bryden’s work delicately balances a viscerally intense heaviness with a melodic and nostalgic beauty. His debut album- ‘This Will Have Been the Past’ was released by Bonambi in June 2024, following a string of live AV performances across Europe in such venues as ICA (London), La Vallée (Brussels), Nalen (Stockholm), and VEKKS (Vienna).

Introducing the artists:

DeeeVeee is a psychedelic-noise duo based in Berlin and Vilnius. Two halves, one Mexican, one Lithuanian, join in the creation of DIY instruments, unique Frankenstein monsters of sound gear, which explore the powerful authenticity of radio transmissions, the manipulation of guttural voices recorded with contact microphones and layered through loop taping processing. A raw and deep construction of sounds and noises is the departure point for Deeeveee’s improvisation skills to travel beyond the boundaries of experimental and avantgarde noise.

With UNMUTED, we launch a new event series dedicated to womxn in experimental music. Beyond our Convergence series, this marks a new chapter for KROSS COLLECTIVE — one that brings underrepresented voices to the forefront.
What has been muted becomes audible.
The evening is conceived as a deep listening experience, with two extended live performances (40–60 min each) and a generous pause in between. No rush, no fragmentation — just immersion.

Cate Hops (Eugenia Seriakov) is a Berlin-based anthropologist, curator, and sound artist working with electro-acoustic compositions, objects, hacked toys, radios, and processed voice. Co-founder of Fem*noise, her practice explores sound as social space through performance, research, and curatorial work.

Bridget Ferrill is a composer, engineer, and synth builder based at Real Surreal Studio Berlin. Her work moves between composition and noise, using augmented instruments, handmade electronics, and experimental computer music. Recent releases include Domschatzkammer, Woodwind Quintet (Subtext), and Only (ENXPL).
