My DJ teachers said Hip Hop is one of the hardest genres to mix, and I cannot deny that it is CHALLENGING .. sometimes beatmatching is possible but then you still deal with a lot of vocals, similar to UK Hardcore, which I dabbled in heavy. Other time it isn’t where you really take just the selector position and play one tune after the other trying to get timing right, create a journey and weave in just enough effects to enhance but not ruin a song..
I feel almost like a beginner DJ now touching upon RAP, Afrobeats, Latin, German Rave Hop and whatnot............ NOT wanting to stick to one genre even in one set is kind of my signature ste, but it does make me go „why am I like this“ on the regular XD
HOWEVER I am having so much fun with these cvnty, CVNTY BARS!!!
Soon on soundcloud🩷

When I announced I was going to remove all genre limitation from my sets I DID NOT know my first release to follow would be a speedcore b2b (literal back to back actually).
I thought i was gonna dabble in calmer sound realms. .. 🦋
But as I think of it, I might be a fit after all, as isnt all speedcore is just.. hardcore ambient ?!!!

Tysm for the very fun evening &
The recording is now on soundcloud ⏩🏎️🤯
