It is with tender delight to share the second release of Bulbosa Records; 'Zelo' a two track EP written and composed by Iris Da Selva, a hidden treasure from the Amazon.

I discovered Iris's music some years ago. stumbling across a video of Iris singing a cover of Mestre Zezinho - Invernada. https://www.instagram.com/p/BjL1WKqHNbg/

The sheer honesty of iris's voice was so profoundly touching, this amazing effect music can have; upon hearing the universe seems just a little more beautiful than it did before. I just had to reach out. 5 years later and many exchanges back and forth. I am honoured to share this special collaboration. where i had the pleasure to immerse Iris's compositions in some ephemeral ambient landscapes.

As with all Bulbosa releases. All music is by donation.

We believe in the power of borderless culture, strong community and creative collaboration to bring about lasting change.
🌱 Alongside releasing exciting new music exploring global folk roots, organic sounds and electronica, Shika Shika will become a people-powered and community-funded platform.
