Holz & Farbe is a cosy wine bar in Wedding with wines and natural wines from various regions in euro Es gab einmal einen Heimwerkermarkt HOLZ & FARBE, welcher zum Namensgeber der Kulturlokalität in der Prinzenallee 58 wurde. 11 Jahre nach dem Schließen des HOLZ & FARBE haben wir dem kiezbekannten „Kamine & Wein“ einen neuen Anstrich verliehen und eröffnen in seinen Räumen das HOLZ & FARBE erneut!

Ein junges Bar-Kollektiv mit frischer Tönung. Ein Raum von Klang, Farbtönen und menschlichem Intermezzo. Das HOLZ & FARBE ist ein Spielplatz aus hölzernen Podesten, funkend glühender Wärme, gepflegt getürmtem Heizmaterial und einem himmlischen Lustgarten. Im Sortiment lodern Brennstoff und Tränke verschiedener Couleur. Kommt vorbei & gebt euren Lack dazu!

Winelovers!

We are doing a Holz & Farbe / Winebar Berlin] pop up in the beautiful gallery space @okkraum29. We thought this made absolut sense since we have a cellar full of beautiful wines to fill your parched throats with. We would like to do it all aperitivo style. Meaning: there will be delicious snacks and finger food, along with matching pet nats and wines. There will be a bit of art too and of course we will provide you with some funky grooves.

Just swing by! We look forward to you and your loved ones! It will be wild!

Dear all, lovely guests of Holz & Farbe,

unfortunately we have to inform you that the bar has to be closed for the time being. We are doing everything we can to quickly resolve the current rent dispute. However, under the given turbulent circumstances, it will not be possible for us to work in peace at the moment. We have been forced to this step, also the current announcement that there will be a new café might just be a provocation that we will not accept.

Anyway, this tears at our hearts because we have built a wonderful growing community with you over the past two years! We have chatted and laughed a lot, we drank and partied a lot with you. We just had a super good time basically!

But the good news is that when one door might close, another one opens. And for sure we will stay as a wine bar, but most probably in a new and even nicer place. So you can be curious which one it will be. We are confident that we can start again very soon and fill you with good wine ;)

Until then please be patient with us. We would love to take everyone of you to our new location!

Our topic this time will be our french selection from @la_bodega_wein. Wernher is a terrific expert in this field and will give you an infinite amount of knowledge and interesting facts about french wines.

the next few days is supposed to be bad weather-wise, but with us it is also indoors super cozy! So just come by and enjoy your wine inside! Dont forget to bring a valid test with you!

At this point we also want to thank you again for the last insanely great weeks with you! Let's keep it up, then we can continue to keep our cozy wine bar alive. Stay healthy and lots of love for you.

Yes its true! This Friday we will open for you again! We are super happy, excited and dance joyfully in the square. Come by for a drink to say hello! We are so much looking forward to seeing all of you ❤️

Just a few to do’s for you, when you come:

1) Please use the „Corona warn app“ to register your visit, you can do that, when you have arrived here via QR Code

2) You need a negative Covid test (antigen, pcr, speed) not older than 24 hours or a positive pcr test older than 28days or evidence of your 2nd vaccination (older than 14 days)!

3) Please always wear a face mask when you leave your table

Sounds complicated but we are very sure and positive that we handle this all together just super fine!

You were wondering who is behind the winebar holz & farbe? We are Lisa and Christian and have been running the bar together since July last year! We both live in the Soldiner Kiez, love our neighbourhood very much and want to be part of its development. We enjoy good wine and are both motivated to bring some of the good stuff into our kiez. We are always on the lookout for new and interesting wines from small biodynamic wineries that have dedicated themselves to natural and sustainable wine production. We try to know all our winemakers personally so that we can pass on their exciting stories to you.
We believe that makes a difference, because the stories and memories are what keep us alive.

we would like to thank everyone who made it possible for us to realise this great project and that means of course first and foremost all wine lovers and passionate drinkers ;) making you happy is the reason that drives us.

Hopefully we will be able to share a glass and a story with you soon. We miss you!

The „Lockvogel“ by @michaelwenzel_rust is definitely the new „wow“ in our sortiment.

"Wild + Free" is what Michael calls his mash-fermented line with the orange wax capsules. Here is a fine example of a yellow muscat: 10 days on the mash, ripe yellow fruit, precise spice and wild roses.

Michael's great love is the Furmint. And rightly so: Furmint wines are fruity, floral and often a little nutty. When the grape variety was threatened with extinction in the 20th century, Michael's dad Robert transported Hungarian vines across the border to reintegrate the grape into the local wine culture. And lo and behold: Furmint feels right at home in Austria. And Michael's wines are the best example of this. Organic farming, manual harvesting and minimalism in the cellar are particularly good for the grape. You can taste it.
