A year ago today.

Here is a brilliant write up by Luise Mörke.
https://fk-kollektiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Final-Bloom.pdf

I am truly speechless about last night.
Our most beautiful bloom of an exhibition was such a big success. Turnout and people's feedback and support was amazing.
Six years ago July 7 2014 to be specific I moved to Berlin and started to conceive an idea for this collaborative space. We had our first meeting in October.

This project took many shapes and evolutions over the time and had many challenges. I really put my all night and day into this.

Last night wasn't a Final Bloom as much as it was a completely new beginning. I have not seen the collective work so tight and well together. Every person took up a role and really showed so much love and care for the project and space.

Last night was the first time I did not feel alone in the many roles I'd take and I can't be more in love and thankful to all of you who took some duties out of love and out of care for what we are building together.

There are many who contributed in their own ways over the year. But I'd like to take today to thank those who are also taking over some of the also boring and mondayne responsabilities. As those are also important for a space to grow.

I tagged everyone in the show. Regardless of roles taken to not leave anyone out as every contribution should not be left unnoticed.

But for you who stayed with me day and night into our yes horribly long shifts and labor over this show. I thank you so dearly and love you so much.

Truly blessed
Zack

Nathalia Milis

Bio:

"I am a designer and artist who moved from a little island in the south of Brazil to try my best luck in Berlin. Here I have studied Print and Media, where I learned about artistic printing process, which took me to balance creating digitally with printing with my own hands. Currently, I am creating a series of linocut prints and also working as a freelance designer, in jobs involving branding, illustration, and editorial."

Antihero:

Old heroes have become pariahs. Political and social discourse has been pushed to the edges of the spectrum: there is no middle ground. Algorithms are now dictating what is seen, what is heard, what is talked about. The platforms for discussions have shrunk to the size of a tweet. Reclaim the space for nuance. Ambivalence as strength. Uncertainty as solid ground.

Óscar I. González-Díaz

Bio:

Óscar González-Díaz (US/MX) holds an MFA (2017) in Fiber and Material Studies from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago and a BA in Philosophy and Linguistics from The University of Texas at El Paso. He has exhibited in the USA, Mexico, Germany and S. Korea. He lives in Berlin, enjoys discussions about wallpapers and occasional displays of human kindness.

Born in El Paso, TX, I grew up on the other side of the border in Cd. Juarez, Chih. Mex. I have moved around a lot during my developmental years. Because of this, my interests deal with the hyperdiasporic nature of our modern world and its impact on cultural capital as masses of people are forced to relocate globally. What does art do to discuss these issues? More importantly, what art needs to exist for these issues to dissipate?

Anna Maria Baur

Bio:
The first time I got in touch with photography was in school, when I was 13 years old at a photography course. Since then, I have photographed everything that came to my mind.

When I moved to Berlin in 2010, I started to study at the "Neue Schule für Fotografie" in order to pursue my passion and to orientate myself more professionally. For my work I like to travel the world and get inspired by the different societies and the cultures. I found bizarre stories fascinating and I like to tell stories. I also want to surprise and entertain my viewers in some way.

Whereas Humor plays an important role, too!

Hey! My name is Danielle, I moved to Berlin with my husband and my camera last October. I have been photographing for a decade, especially portraits. I've been looking for a long time for eastern european homes, to create some new portraits inspired by Russian culture, without success i must say... If you have an idea where to look (besides airbnb) , or if you happen to have parents or grandparents living in such houses, I would be very happy for some help!:) here is a link to my website: https://www.daniellecohendinar.com/people And pictures for illustration in comments *
