We are happy to announce, that Eidotech has provided the time-based media for the
Biennale für aktuelle Fotografie, that takes place in Heidelberg and Ludwigshafen from 19 March to 22 May 2022.
This year's biennale is focused on the photographic explorations in times of urgent change. Six exhibitions in total:

New Exhibition with new works by Sharon Lockardt up at 515 West 24th Street in New York. Don't miss when you are around there!

We are happy and proud that we could support the artist and the Gallery also on spot with our expertise, to present this great new film installation.

"The exhibition’s centerpiece is Lockhart’s film EVENTIDE. Shot in Gotland, Sweden, EVENTIDE is a 30-minute single take filmed as dusk turned to night during the annual Perseid meteor shower. From its stationary position, the camera records the slow entrance and exit of several figures exploring the rocky shore flashlights in hand. The rhythmic pacing of their explorations reveal a considered yet organic choreography of bodies slowly moving in and out of frame in the liminal space where land meets water, where day meets night, where earth meets stars. EVENTIDE, like much of Lockhart’s work, invites contemplation, asks us to consider what we see and hear. The film has a solemn, almost dreamlike quality, one heightened by the night sky, the silhouettes searching in the dark, and the overwhelmingness of nature."

EIDOTECH....läuft
Endlich war es heute wieder soweit nach über zwei Jahren Pause. Ein gut aufgelegtes Team von sechs unerschrockenen LäuferInnen hat uns am IKK BB Berliner Firmenlauf rund um die Straße des 17. Juni, den Tiergarten und das Brandenburger Tor vertreten. Trotz Regen und einbrechender Dunkelheit haben sich unsere LäuferInnen nicht abhalten lassen das Ding mit Leidenschaft und voller Enthusiasmus über die Ziellinie zu bringen!

"Die Neue Nationalgalerie präsentiert nach sechs Jahren sanierungsbedingter Schließung erstmals wieder die Hauptwerke der Klassischen Moderne aus der Sammlung der Nationalgalerie. „Die Kunst der Gesellschaft“ zeigt circa 250 Gemälde und Skulpturen aus den Jahren 1900 bis 1945, unter anderem von Otto Dix, Hannah Höch, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Lotte Laserstein und Renée Sintenis."
Aber auch 'bewegte Bilder' aus jüngster Vergangenheit runden die Präsentation ab: synchronisierte Filminstallation Javier Tellez "Rotations" und Julian Rosefeldts Video "Deep Gold"

"The 2021 summer exhibition is dedicated to Anri Sala. Originally planned for 2020, the exhibition has been postponed for a year.(...)
Musical phenomena play a major role in Anri Sala’s work. His transformative, time-based works develop from a dense network of relations between sound, image, and architecture. A recurring medium in the exhibition is film. In contrast to conventional cinema, Sala does not employ a strict narrative or even actors, it is rather musical pieces that become the real protagonists in the works. The cine-matic results from the musical and not, as is customary, vice versa, enabling visitors to immerse themselves in a both visual and acoustic experience of the space. (...)
Recent and entirely new works will be on view in the exhibition at Kunsthaus Bregenz. A record player, floating freely in an abandoned space capsule, a subtle alternating between the architecture’s contours being sharp or blurred, a garden snail slowly moving along a viola bow, a vintage wallpaper-printing roller whose metal pattern is translated into spectral sounds. All of these are elements and imagery that Anri Sala will be employing in engendering creative shifts and to probe existing interpretive relations."
