Since 2015 "Factory TT Video Art Collection" has been co-producing new video works with Iranian artists on a regular basis.

Factory TT was initiated by Shahram Entekhabi and Asieh Salimian in 2015 as an independent platform that is neither supported by a government nor by political interests, ideologies or religions. Events such as screenings, artist talks and exhibitions are presented to the public using the videos in the collection. These co-productions serve to promote contemporary positions in Iranian video art and

to further upgrade the collection.

Challenges of the Current Global Situation from an Artist's Perspective.

Reflecting on ongoing issues such as migration, the rising threat of right-wing populism, fascism, and war, I want to honor my collaboration with Mieke Bal & Shahram Entekhabi collaboration works.

For over four years, we worked closely together, organizing seminars and conferences, and creating significant video and installation works exhibited in museums worldwide. These challenges have long been part of our artistic dialogue and deserve our continued attention.

Kunsthall 3,14 Presents: Nothing But... Breaking Boundaries: A Bold Exploration of Perspectives and Status Quo by Emerging Iranian Female Video Artists

Kunsthall 3,14 is proud to present a unique selection of experimental short films curated by Asieh Salimian and Shahram Entekhabi (Factory TT), with whom we have collaborated before both in Bergen and in Tehran. The full title of the program is Nothing But... Breaking Boundaries: A Bold Exploration of Perspectives and Status Quo by Emerging Iranian Female Video Artists. As the name suggests, the selection presents works by a diverse group of young, up-and-coming female video artists from Iran, each with their own unique artistic voice and perspective.

ویدئو کالکشن فکتوری تی‌تی برای اولین بار در اروپا بخشی از مجموعه آثار خود را که شامل هنرمندان زن جوان ایرانی‌ست، معرفی می‌کند. آثار ویدئویی این هنرمندان با به چالش کشیدن مرزهای نامرئی و شکستن آنها، دریچه‌ای برای تبادل فرهنگی بین خود و صحنه هنر معاصر بین‌المللی ایجاد می‌کنند. این پروژه، که در راستای تاریخ هنر ویدئو شکل و از آن الهام گرفته، دیدگاه‌هایی از آنچه در ایران رخ می‌دهد را به تصویر می‌کشد.

Wir stellen Ihnen die Factory TT Video Collection vor, die eine sorgfältig kuratierte Auswahl an Videoarbeiten talentierter aufstrebender Künstlerinnen der iranischen Kunstszene enthält.

🎨 Wir feiern Videokunst im Iran 🎨

Mit einem Fokus auf Video als bedeutendem Medium beleuchtet unsere Sammlung die wichtige Rolle, die Videokunst in der iranischen Kunstszene spielt. Ziel ist es, der relativen Unterrepräsentation dieser Kunstform entgegenzuwirken und jungen Künstlern eine Plattform zu bieten, auf der sie ihre kreativen Ausdrucksformen präsentieren können.

Aufbauend auf den einflussreichen Hinterlassenschaften des Feminismus und der Videokunst nutzen die Projekte unserer Sammlung visuell überzeugende Erzählungen, um bestehende Normen in Frage zu stellen und die Stimmen iranischer Frauen zu verstärken. Durch ihre künstlerischen Bemühungen tragen diese talentierten Künstler zu einem Dialog über die Gleichstellung der Geschlechter bei, indem sie sich über den Status quo hinwegsetzen und Barrieren abbauen.

Die Factory TT -Videosammlung dient als Katalysator für Dialog, Bewusstsein und transformative Veränderungen. In the video storyboard by “Sima Bagherzadeh”, the artist represents a new concept to console herself; a world that gives her peace. She is one of the women who are looking for their self-esteem in social developments. She depicts a world in which children are defined as the offspring of the land in the absence of their fathers. The artist's experiences are based on the evolutions of her contemporaries in the face of the current society. This artwork reflects a world devoid of the flaws that women had experienced in the past. This is what we are observing today: Postmodernism has spread to the urban middle class lifestyle; a situation that has eventually led to promotion of the culture of consumerism. Most of the people have become urban and postmodern.
This change in outlook on life has affected our comprehension of the world and the way we enjoy it. On the other hand, in the postmodern world, it seems that the concept of society is fading, and a new social structure is formed as a result of random activities of individuals who are trying to give meaning to their world and find a place for themselves in this world. This issue leads people to beauty with designs inspired by the past. By returning to the past and displaying it, people are consciously or unconsciously seeking to borrow from the genuine and classic beauty, in order to leave the boring modern atmosphere behind, and to return to the innocence of the past; with the impression that whatever is beautiful, is genuine, innocent and morally desirable.

What is a sculpture? And what is plastic art? These main categories of fine arts are often used interchangeably. Plastic art, unlike sculptures from which something is taken, is created through the process of addition.
Nastaran Azadi in her video performance, as a living sculpture on a soap box which is a wooden platform, gives an impromptu speech mainly about the sculpture in history and art; like the days when speakers would go on a wooden box which was used to pack goods, and give lectures. This is a multi-layered effect that can be described by the extension of plastic terms, sculpture, living sculpture, or material sculpture. Inspired by the artworks of Nam June Paik, Nastaran Azadi puts the TV sets together like body parts and refers to a human who brought video art with him by using technology.

مجسمه چیست؟ و هنر پلاستیک چیست؟ این دسته بندی های اصلی هنرهای زیبا اغلب به طور مترادف استفاده می شوند. هنر پلاستیک بر خلاف مجسمه هایی که چیزی از آن گرفته می شود، از طریق فرآیند اضافه شدن ایجاد می شود. نسترن آزادی در ویدئو پرفورمنسش، به مثابه ی "مجسمه زنده ای " بر روی جعبه صابون که یک سکوی چوبی است،یک نطق فی البداهه و عمدتاً در باره مجسمه در تاریخ و هنر ایراد میکند. مانند روزهایی که سخنرانان بر روی یک جعبه چوبی که برای بسته بندی کالا استفاده می شده می رفتند و به سخنرانی می‌پرداختند. این یک اثر چند لایه است که می توان با گسترش اصطلاحات پلاستیک، مجسمه، مجسمه زنده و یا مجسمه های مادی توصیف کرد. نسترن آزادی با الهام از آثار نام جون پایک، دستگاه های تلویزیون را همانند قطعات بدن بر روی هم می چیند و به یک انسان که با استفاده از فناوری، ویدئوآرت را با خود آورده بود اشاره می کند
