We wish a successful exhibition to Dana Whabira founder & artistic Director of Njelele Art Station art station who is part of the Zimbabwe Pavillon at the 57th edition of the Venice Biennale.

Our Artistic Director and the founder of Njelele Art Station, Dana Whabira, will be exhibiting her work at the 57th edition of The Venice Biennale. She is part of the Zimbabwe pavilion which is set to open on Wednesday the 10th of May 2017.

"Dana Whabira is a Zimbabwean artist whose parentage and cultural heritage echoes from Argentina, Poland, South Africa and Zimbabwe. Born in London to immigrant parents, father in political exile, and moving home to the new Zimbabwe her work mirrors this complex interplay of post independence euphoria and coloniality."
