Leider nach aktuellem Stand nicht für international tätige Künstler*innen / Künstlervermittler*innen. Die ausländischen Umsätze fallen nicht in die Berechnung. The electronic music scene unites and asks for support!

In an open letter, DJs, live acts, producers and their agents and managers - in short, music and culture professionals of the electronic scene - turn to the German government.
With the Open Letter the protection of the industry and especially help for the small artists and solo self-employed trades of their industry is demanded.

Led by names such as Sven Väth, Dr. Motte, Ellen Allien, MousseT. T. and Paul Van Dyk, it is above all about solidarity and the still outstanding recognition as an important part of German culture.

Due to the Corona Pandemic, more than 1 million jobs are threatened to be lost without sufficient security for the independent people behind music and dance.
The initiators ask for a dialogue at eye level without discussing the opening of the venues, this is the responsibility of the respective club networks (LiveKomm as Federal Association
or e.g. Clubcommission Berlin). The letter reached the individual ministries as well as members of parliament from the various German states today.

The initiator of the letter is the association Booking United from Berlin, to which almost 140 agencies and about 2500 artists and DJs belong.

Die Elektronische Musikszene vereint sich und bittet um Unterstützung!

In einem Offenen Brief wenden sich DJ’s, Live Acts, Produzenten und deren Agenten und Manager kurzum Musik- und Kulturschaffende der elektronischen Szene an die Bundesregierung.
Mit dem Offenen Brief wird der Schutz der Branche und vor allem Hilfen für die kleinen Künstler und Solo-Selbstständigen Gewerke ihrer Branche gefordert.

Geführt von Namen wie Sven Väth, Dr. Motte, Ellen Allien, MousseT. und Paul Van Dyk geht es vor allem um einen solidarischen Schulterschluss und die immer noch ausstehende Anerkennung als wichtigen Teil der deutschen Kultur.

Durch die Corona Pandemie drohen mehr als 1 Million Jobs wegzubrechen ohne ausreichende Absicherung der selbstständigen Menschen hinter Musik und Tanz.
Die Initiatoren bitten um einen Dialog auf Augenhöhe ohne die Spielstätten-Öffnung zu diskutieren, das liegt im Aufgabenbereich der jeweiligen Club-Netzwerke (LiveKomm als Bundesverband
oder z.B. Clubcommission Berlin). Der Brief erreichte am heutigen Tag die einzelnen Ministerien aber auch Abgeordnete aus den verschiedenen Bundesländern.

Initiator des Briefes ist der Verband Booking United aus Berlin, welchem knapp 140 Agenturen und etwa 2500 Künstler und DJs angehören."
