“Efficiency is corruption as well as fantasy” – Lilly Pfalzer
Lilly Pfalzer was part of the first two chapters of Montag Modus’ Ecology of Attention series that looks for strategies to resist the attention economy.
The performance-exhibitions “Ignition Cycle” and “FOMO” featured their installation "From ethics to aesthetics" and the performance "Hold a ghost" in which Pfalzer together with Ronald Berger, Marie Carangi, Olivia Hyunsin Kim, Rebecca Korang and Billy Morgan investigate the strengths and dangers of anonymity, communal bodies and collective identity.
The visitors could join them on their performance - starting from the exhibition project Flaneurin* oder Spaßverderberin*? by feldfünf e.V. to Montag Modus - that explored the imperialist and colonialist gestures manifested in the urban architecture of Friedrichstadt.
When asking Lilly what they thought the highlight of the events were, Lilly said: “To cuddle with my friends and to be cute together.”
Oh yes, Lilly, we can definitely see that in the pictures! 😍
A big thanks to Lilly and to the whole team for sharing their loving and supporting spirit.
Thanks to feldfünf e.V. @feldfuenf for the collaboration on Lilly’s project.
