This Thursday, June 18th, FRAMED BERLIN presents Lars Teichmann’s exhibition “The Most Important Things”. Ahead of FRAMED #92, we talked with Lars about images, tradition, and the faces he leaves unpainted.  Lars Teichmann’s paintings carry a monumental quality. He reduces grand themes to their bare essentials, while lifting modest subjects to near-architectural scale. In a venue like Musikbrauerei, that kind of painting doesn’t just hang on the wall. It fills the room.

Ahead of FRAMED #92, we spoke with world-renowned trumpet player Avishai Cohen Avishai Cohen about the intimacy of a duet performance, life lessons, and the value of rest.

Avishai Cohen and Yonathan Avishai Yonathan Avishai will perform at Musikbrauerei Berlin, surrounded by Lars Teichmann’s exhibition “The Most Important Things,” creating an immersive dialogue between intimate improvisation and visual art.

Avishai Cohen & Yonathan Avishai live at FRAMED #92 SUMMER SPECIAL!

The first concert of the night invites world-renowned trumpeter Avishai Cohen & pianist Yonathan Avishai to take over Musikbrauerei with an intimate live performance, surrounded by Lars Teichmann’s exhibition THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS.

Bound by years of close musical collaboration, the duo creates a rare atmosphere of deep listening — moving between delicate introspection, lyrical warmth and powerful emotional intensity. With space, silence and subtlety at the center of their dialogue, every note feels intentional.
