I feel a strong pull toward spontaneous flow. It mirrors what happens when I improvise in dance.
At first chaos then rush of movement, fragments, impulses. But somewhere within this field something begins to form. Something new, Unexpected, Raw, Alive!
In painting it brings me back to the empty canvas (a space of pure possibility’s ). Multiple paths at once, not yet fixed, not yet decided.
It makes me think of the quantum world where reality only takes shape the moment we observe it. I try to stay with the not knowing as much as can and trust the process.
