As part of CUIR PRIDE, we are proud to present Agustina Comedi’s movie: El Silencio es un cuerpo que cae (Silence is a falling body, Argentina 2017 75’): an intimate documentary where personal archives become a journey through memory, family, q***r desire, and freedom.

After her father’s death, Agustina Comedi discovers more than one hundred hours of home videos. What begins as a family archive unfolds into a hidden story of secrecy, q***r desire, love, and freedom.

A powerful documentary about the lives that remained invisible, and the memories that refuse to disappear.

Meet Gabriela Gioia (), curator of CUIR PRIDE and co-director of Vierte Welle Film Festival.

More than a film screening, CUIR PRIDE is a political gesture and a meeting point for the Latin American cuir community in Berlin. A space to gather, share our stories, and build networks through cinema.

To say cuir is to reclaim a word from the South: from migration, from our bodies, desires, and memories. At a time when our existence is once again being challenged, coming together to see ourselves on screen remains an act of visibility, community, and resistance.

Against forgetting. Against hate. By those who came before, for those who come after.

✨ We came to shine, whether they like it or not.
