Club: BEAT MOVEMENT

Beat Movement is a duo based in Berlin composed by Mattia Prete & Simone Scardino.
In the beginning of their musical journey, their style was heavily inspired by the sound of the 90s with fast grooves made for the dancefloor. The decision to open up to new and more abstract electronic experiments was quickly made when they moved from Rome to Berlin one year ago. Aside from producing and djing, the young duo manages two music labels that are respectively specialized in techno and electronic jazz. Their work, label and productions reflect musical diversity with plentiful support from well known and respected artists within the scene like Oscar Mulero, Ben Sims, Blawan, Endlec, Umwelt, Pacou, Dj Pete, Sleeparchive, Dave Clarke, Tensal, Detroit Techno Militia and many more. Their objective is always to be in progress and to avoid staying with one certain sound for a long time.

Club: Offtrack

When Offtrack is not promoting or powering through his hefty record collection, he’s turning his hands (and ears) to music production. Towards the end of this year Thomas release his first album & some other bits on some local Irish labels.

He’s been an acclaimed addition to Ireland’s most popular festivals and club lineups sharing the the stage with artists like Sunil Sharpe, Anetha, Defekt & Rebekah. Offtrack mixes through a variety of sounds. Expect to hear anything from loopy old school to ghetto & electro breaks.

Open air: Bertrand

After relocating to NYC at the age of 21, where he would study music production and sound engineering at Dubspot, Bertrand began taking from his experiences in disparate parts of the world to forge his own unique musical aesthetic.
A creator who finds genres limiting, he approaches his work differently every time he enters the studio. Drawing on old-school techno, with echoes of broken beat, jungle and house, the sum of his music eclipses its parts, glancing backwards to the nineties and afore, while at the same time pushing relentlessly into the future.

Open Air: Marco Bruno

Marco Bruno’s focus as a DJ and producer is to transmit, to communicate something untouchable to the bodies on the dancefloor, to forge a whole from elements that are both corporeal and transcendental, to conjure up a sonic and emotional scene that is diverse, pure and free. From his early influences, which range from Detroit-UK's Techno axis to Electro-D'n'B, this prodigious artist began his creative journey with Musica & Parole, the best-known clubs company of Apulia (South Italy), selecting as resident Dj for many clubs such the legendary Clorophilla Club placed in his home city Taranto.

In those years he experienced the essence of growth: patience, determination and charisma generated the perfect dynamism allowing him to keep alive his basically concept “mindset is oriented to versatility, to completeness” and to cross the national border performing in the most respectable European capitals.

His productions, which are defined more by feeling than by genre, contain glints of Ambient, broken beats, Techno, but stand apart from specific classification. Having recently collaborated with childhood hero Ben Sims signing for Hardgroove, Symbolism LTD and Machine Compilation (50-track compilation selected by Ben Sims and Kirk Degiorgio), his current focus is on his own label, which is in the pipeline to launch later this year.In keeping with the visceral dynamism of his own output, when not behind the controls or in front of the production gear, he is likely to be found on a dancefloor somewhere.
