Svitlana Glaser Fine Art

Svitlana Glaser Fine Art Fine Art Painter and recipient of the 'Best Solo Exhibitor' Award 2025 at Miami Art Week. Svitlana Glaser was born in Cherkassy, Ukraine.

Exhibited internationally in Florence, Barcelona, Stuttgart, Miami and Dubai. Educated at The Florence Academy of Art and Angel Academy of Art in Florence, Italy. She studied at The Angel Academy of Art and The Florence Academ

y of Art in Florence, Italy under Michael John Angel & Daniel Graves and developed as a classicist under the influence of Hayezals (1791-1882) and Bouguereau (1825-1905). Her pictures are characterized by the romantic delicacy of form and the truthfulness of expression. She remains true to her style of academic classicism and classical realism. Many of her portraits bring out the hidden beauty of the person and breathe true life into the paintings on a higher dimension. This is intended to achieve the ideal of perfect and at the same time selective imitation of reality. Svitlana Glaser's works can be found in churches, museums and private collections. They have been presented at international art fairs including Florence, Barcelona, Stuttgart and Miami.

Self-Portrait by Svitlana

This intimate self-portrait was created at The Florence Academy of Art under the masterly instruction of Maestro Daniel Graves. Representing a significant milestone in her journey, the artist captures herself in a standing pose, presenting a study that is as much about character as it is about technical precision.

The work is characterized by a soft, cool light that illuminates the subject against an atmospheric neutral background. The artist has achieved a remarkable luminosity in the skin tones and a delicate silky texture in the hair, which is adorned with subtle white floral accents.

Italian Child Holding a Crust of Bread by 'Bouguereau' (1874)

An oil painting reproduction produced at the Angel Academy of Art. Painted under the instruction of teacher Ashish Kumar Patel in Florence, Italy.

This work is a master study of Bouguereau, the preeminent French Salon painter known for his modern interpretations of classical motifs. While celebrated in France and the United States for his technical perfection, Bouguereau remained a steadfast traditionalist against the rising Impressionist avant-garde.

As I painted the master portrait "The Oracle of Delphi" of the model 'Federica Manca' in a seated pose, the most difficulty part was when the model moved during the session, especially her arm and hand. Keeping them in the exact same position was the most tiring for her.

But in the end, the model was very happy with the result :)

Two Lemons & a Carafe

An oil painting of a still life with two lemons, leaves, and a reclining carafe on a table. This intimate still life captures a quiet moment of balance and restraint. Two luminous lemons and scattered leaves rest beside a reclining carafe, emerging from a dark, atmospheric ground through confident, expressive brushwork. The subtle play of light and texture transforms everyday objects into a timeless meditation on form, material, and stillness - bridging classical still-life tradition with a distinctly contemporary sensibility.

A Remarkable Day at Spectrum Miami – Booth #1422! ✨

Yesterday we were honored by a special visit to our booth from Armando Ghedini entrepreneur, author, and son of the renowned Italian painter Arrigo Ghedini, celebrated for his iconic Don Quixote works and portraits of U.S. Presidents and Hollywood legends.

Joining him was his wife, the extraordinary Kim Hye-ja, known worldwide by her stage name Patti Ki - the legendary South Korean singer who debuted in 1959 and went on to rule the entertainment scene throughout the 1960s and 70s.

Their admiration and compliments for Svitlana Glaser’s fine art made this encounter especially meaningful. Moments like these remind us how art connects eras, cultures, and creative spirits.

🎨 If you’re at Spectrum Miami, don’t miss the chance to experience Svitlana Glaser’s powerful and emotive work in person.

Whispers of Silver and Crimson

In 'Whispers of Silver and Crimson', simple, timeworn objects are transformed into a visual poem of stillness and reflection. At the center stands an antique silver teapot — its surface softly burnished by age, catching and diffusing light like memory itself. Around it, pomegranates rest with quiet vitality, their deep crimson hues symbolizing abundance, life, and renewal.

The composition unfolds upon a white linen cloth, where texture and shadow play a subtle counterpoint to the forms above. A delicate porcelain bowl and a silver spoon complete the tableau, grounding the scene in both elegance and humility. The artist’s mastery of tone and texture reveals a deep reverence for the timeless beauty of ordinary things.

Rendered in the spirit of Academic Classicism, this painting captures the dialogue between transience and permanence, simplicity and opulence. The teapot’s patina and the fruit’s ripeness echo the natural rhythm of time—celebrating how light transforms the familiar into something eternal.

Whispers of Silver and Crimson is not merely a still life; it is a meditation on grace, endurance, and the quiet dignity of forms touched by history.

The Muse of Florence

This portrait captures a moment of serene introspection, where beauty and tranquility merge in a tender balance. The young Florentine woman rests on a sofa, her dark hair softly gathered, her white off-the-shoulder blouse delicately illuminated by warm, diffused light. The gentle rhythm of her pose and the harmony of muted tones evoke a timeless quietude - a whisper of classical grace.

Painted in the tradition of Academic Classicism and Classical Realism, this work celebrates the intimacy of stillness and the poetry of repose, inviting the viewer to share in a fleeting dream suspended between light and silence.
