✨✨Sunday Worship Recap✨✨🌿📖
🪨 THE BATTLE IS THE LORD’S
“I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts.”
— 1 Samuel 17:45–47
This Sunday, we were reminded through the story of David and Goliath that our weakness does not limit what God can do.
David was smaller, less equipped, and seemingly no match for Goliath. He had only his sling and five stones—but he had faith in a BIG God. 🙏
David didn’t focus on the size of the giant. He focused on the greatness of God.
Sometimes, we also face our own Goliaths—problems that seem too big, situations that feel impossible, and moments when we feel like we’re not enough.
Like Jeremiah, we can easily belittle ourselves. But God reminds us that He will be with us, He will speak through us, and His help will come at the right time.
“Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” — James 2:17
David had faith, but he also took action. He stepped forward, used what God had placed in his hands, and trusted God with the outcome.
The battle may be big.
The problem may be deep.
The situation may seem impossible.
But remember:
THE BATTLE IS THE LORD’S.
The victory is not in our strength, resources, or abilities—but in the living God.
So whatever giant you’re facing today, step forward in faith. Trust God. Use what He has placed in your hands.
And when the victory comes, remember:
The glory belongs to God. ❤️🔥
