I was delighted to illustrate an excerpt from my favorite Hastrman by Miloš Urban for an anthology of contemporary Czech literature presented by the Czech Centres in Taiwan.

Bylo mi potěšením vytvořit ilustraci k úryvku z mého oblíbeného Urbanova Hastrmana pro sborník současné české literatury, představený Českými centry na Taiwanu.

CREATIVE SYNERGY
- is our joint presentation by and at the as part of . 💜

We are showcasing our collaboration on the hand-painted vases ODE TO GLASSBLOWING, a tribute to Czech glassmaking and the landscape of glassworks, extinct volcanoes and sandstone cliffs.

The exhibition also features my latest canvases inspired by the craft of glassmaking. As my medium, I used charcoal made from a pear tree from my own orchard. 🍐

You can visit the exhibition at Almanac X Prague now during Designblok, and it will remain open until the end of November.

Many thanks to Michaela and Jakub for this collaboration, and to Jan Janecký and his studio and for the great experience and their valuable advice.

Milí přátelé 🫶

Mám radost, že je intarzie pro nominovaná na ceny a International Design Awards!

V rámci CGD24 jsem finalistou v kategorii Ilustrátor roku, což znamená, že intarzie bude součástí výstavy v ! Tímto vás srdečně zvu na výstavu Space of Desire, kterou připravily Kája a Lenka ze .us. Výstava bude k vidění od 7. února do 10. března. 🔮

A co se týče cen EDIDA, tam máme hned několik nominací! Já za PLOCHY, za INTERIÉROVÝ A PROSTOROVÝ DESIGN je nominované , kterému děkuju za důvěru, když mě do projektu oslovili. A v kategorii OSVĚTLENÍ jsou kluci z .limited, kteří nejen že vytvořili boží světla pro Forbínu, ale taky realizovali samotnou intarzii. 🙏

Stavte se na výstavu a držte nám palce! 🤞

I’m happy to share that the intarsia for bar Forbína has been nominated for the Czech Grand Design and Elle Decoration International Design Awards!

As part of CGD24, I’m a finalist in the Illustrator of the Year category, which means the intarsia will be part of the exhibition at Kunsthalle Praha! I would like to warmly invite you to the Space of Desire exhibition, prepared by Kája and Lenka from SHOTBY.US. The exhibition will be open from February 7th to March 10th. 🔮

As for the EDIDA awards, we have several nominations! I am nominated for SURFACES, and in the category of INTERIOR AND SPATIAL DESIGN, Olgoj Chorchoj studio is nominated, to whom I am very grateful for trusting me when they invited me to collaborate on the project. In the LIGHTING category, the guys from ZEITGEIST.LIMITED are nominated. They not only created the amazing lights for Forbína but also realized the intarsia itself. 🙏
