Monday was all about rolling up our sleeves. 💻

ran for two days for the very first time, and we kicked things off with hands-on workshops. More time together and more of the conference vibe we love. 🧠

Thank you to everyone who spent their Monday learning, asking questions and pushing themselves a bit further.
And thanks to our amazing workshop leads: Manuel Matuzović, Michal Matuška, Artem Zakharchenko, Richard Fridrich, Petr Glaser, Kamil Tomšík. That’s exactly why we do this. 🧡

Did you join one of the workshops? Tell us your biggest takeaway in the comments. 👇

turned out exactly how we hoped: a full room, lots of laughs, long hallway conversations and the feeling that you weren’t just attendees, you were part of the crew.

Did you find yourself in the photos? Let us know in the comments or tag yourself. 👇

Stay tuned, more photos are on the way.

Two days of learnings, deep technical talks, lively discussions, and endless cups of coffee in Prague are behind us.

Important schedule update for ! 🚨

Unfortunately, Richard Fridrich has fallen ill and won't be able to join us at the conference. We wish Riki a super speedy recovery and send him lots of health and energy from the whole community! 💛

Here is how our program is adjusting to keep the quality top-notch:

🎙️ 1) New Standalone Talk: Frameworks are not enough: The future stack for AI development

We are extremely grateful to Petr Glaser for stepping in on short notice!

AI makes code generation dramatically faster, but faster code doesn't automatically mean better software. Instead of ranking frameworks, Petr will present the future development stack as a system of feedback loops - focusing on types, schemas, CI, observability, and quality gates that let AI agents and humans safely build production software together.

💬 2) Panel Discussion Update: The Present and Future of IT Careers

In our panel discussion on the IT market and career evolution, Riki will be replaced by Libor Vanek, who will bring a great perspective to the debate alongside Marketa Krejčí (Řezáčová) and Petr Burian.

A massive thank you to both Petr and Libor for stepping up! 🤝

Ever seen a tech talk transformed into visual art? 🎨
We are thrilled to welcome Prague-based illustrator Ken Nash to tomorrow!

Ken Nash (Event Sketch Art) has illustrated countless conferences, turning deep technical sessions into fun, engaging visual summaries. This year, he’s bringing his pen to FrontKon to capture selected talks live on the spot!

Look out for Ken in the audience, and get ready to see your favorite sessions rendered in ink. 🎨

We can't wait to share his illustrations with you after the event! 🤩

One day to workshops and two days left to the main conference day! 🚨

Press play to hear directly from Tomáš Litera (Lead Engineer at Alma Career) 🎬👇

Tomáš will dive into the infamous Shai-hulud supply-chain attack and show you how a single poisoned package can compromise entire CI pipelines.

💡 What you'll walk away with:
• A complete breakdown of modern npm supply-chain vulnerabilities.
• Ready-to-use linter rules & configurations to protect your codebase on day one.

Everyone wants a fast website. Until they have to remove something from it.

Frontend performance isn't just about Lighthouse scores, lazy loading, and smaller bundles. In a real-world enterprise, it’s a series of daily negotiations between dev, design, content, marketing, and product - because every kilobyte and external script exists for a reason.

🎤 We are excited to welcome David Maixner and Martin Kocourek from Allwyn CZ to the stage!

Drawing on real examples from Sazka's transformation into Allwyn, David (Web Dev Lead) and Martin (Web Team Lead) will show what happens when a high-traffic gaming redesign starts crashing iPhones in production.

💡 Key Takeaways:
• Lessons learned from Sazka's transformation into Allwyn.
• Navigating the politics of removing bloat, third-party scripts, and unwanted code.
• Balancing business requirements with technical ex*****on without killing the product's purpose.

📍 Partner Stage | 🇨🇿 Presented in Czech

One week to go! ⏳ Get the most out of and start on Monday with hands-on workshops.

Want to level up your practical skills before the main talks? Here is what's on the lineup and where you can still grab a seat:

♿ Manuel Matuzović: Testing Accessibility with LLMs
Manuel slightly updated his topic to bring LLMs into the equation! During this half-day workshop, you will learn how to leverage AI tools while solving accessibility challenges unique to modern JavaScript frameworks like React and Next.js.

🛠️ Artem Zakharchenko: React Component Testing with Vitest Browser Mode
Say goodbye to broken JSDOM environments! Dive hands-on into Vitest Browser Mode, learn how in-browser component testing differs from E2E, and migrate your tests to run in real browsers.

🧠 Riki Fridrich: Karpathy LLM wiki: long-term memory for you or your project
Tired of AI repeating mistakes? Build your own portable, provider-independent knowledge base inspired by Andrej Karpathy's approach to give AI coding agents long-term project context.

🔒 Kamil Tomšík: Development with local LLMs: Privacy & Performance in Practice
Stop sending sensitive code to the cloud. Learn how to choose, set up, and optimize local AI models and hardware to fit seamlessly into your daily development workflow.

🛑 Petr Glaser: SOLD OUT! 🔥
🛑 Michal Matuška: SOLD OUT! 🔥
