Raised on a combination of punk, theater, and noise, Emme fuses harsh vocals with
heavy, detailed lighting and sound design for immersive performances that touch on
themes of death, tragedy, and horror. Originally from Los Angeles, Emme has lived in
New York and Portland, where she quickly rose to prominence as a pivotal underground
artist. Now relocated to Berlin, she is expanding her world through the use of new
mediums and collaborations. Her first piece, “Heaven Help Me” began as an
underground noise show and has been performed at CTM, The Venice Biennale, LUFF,
and many others.

(Goodbye Clifford. I’ll be missing you. Though I don’t remember you much. I can only imagine how beautiful it would be if I could remember just a bit of our memories.)
Expressing unfulfilled wishes, accepting its own wounds and getting used to the present self. 
The project became a place to express oneself with no boundaries and many personal lines being crossed. Music is a tool to feel compassion. 
GbClifford is an artistic entity dedicated to the exploration of sound and music, primarily operating within the realms of noise-guitar and sample/vocal processing. The project has also developed a secondary initiative characterized by sound collage techniques, integrating elements of emo and noise.
As a performance project, GbClifford seeks to engage with diverse audiences across various venues, fostering connections within communities through the intricate musical narratives and thematic significance embedded in its compositions. The project embodies the belief that communal gatherings, rooted in shared experiences and values articulated through music, serve as vital spaces for cultivating safe and nurturing environments conducive to collective growth.
The artistic practice of GbClifford addresses significant themes such as mental fragility, the quest for human belonging, and the process of coping with trauma through the act of sharing. These themes are intricately woven into an artistic framework that utilizes a diverse array of metaphors and symbols, enriching the listener’s experience.

Based in Dublin, Belfast, and London, Irish intersectional feminist firebrands M(h)aol — Constance Keane (She/Her), Jamie Hyland (She/Her), and Sean Nolan (He/Him) — have built a reputation for thrilling live performances, fostering an atmosphere that encourages community and catharsis regardless of where they play.
Signed to Merge after an electric SXSW set, M(h)aol follows the North American reissue of their acclaimed debut Attachment Styles and recent single “Pursuit” with “Snare,” a noisy and driving song that fiercely challenges gender expectations with sharp wit.
“‘Snare’ is about countless conversations I’ve had since my first drum lesson on my ninth birthday about how bizarre it is that I play that instrument, or how I should be doing it differently,” explains vocalist and drummer Constance Keane. “The idea of society gendering an inanimate object like a drum kit, when it’s something that brings me so much joy and release, has always frustrated me hugely, and I thought it was time to sing about it.” The Dublin-based band’s music consistently explores social connection, q***rness, and healing. Their celebrated 2021 EP Gender Studies confronted structural oppression faced by women and gender minorities, establishing M(h)aol as a powerful voice within contemporary post-punk and feminist discourse.

Casey MQ is an artist, composer, and producer from Toronto, now living in Los Angeles.
Growing up, Casey’s adoration for pop music intersected with his training as a classical pianist. As he got older Casey began to work more closely with electronic music. In 2020, he shared his debut album, babycasey, which gave voice to songs seen through the lens of childhood. The release coincided with various film score work, collaborations with artists such as Oklou, Eartheater, and Shygirl, and his co-founding of the Covid-era q***r virtual club, Club Quarantine. Casey’s gifts as a producer and songwriter are rooted in textural world-building and the excavation of personal truth. On his latest album, and Ghostly International debut, Later that day, the day before, or the day before, he questions what is true entirely, understanding our mind’s tendency to bend and project onto pictures of the past. Across vivid, baroque pop balladry, Casey MQ reorients his recording project and point of view under the notion that memories are malleable. All the joy, pain, love, and loss housed within remembrance is open to interpretation and deconstruction, which he does deftly, with curiosity and complete artistic freedom.
