Dear speedladies, dear fans,

A pretty crazy year is coming to an end. The season was short and the champions are already crowned. Now usually the time begins when the events of next year be announced.

Unfortunately the last few years didn't went by traceless. Sandra gave up racingfor the moment at the end of 2019 and now it's clear that Heike has to suspend at least 2021 too.

In this situation we think we can't accompany you sufficiently because we won't participate in any events, we can't develop the cup further and finally we can't make you happy. Therefore we decided to pause the speedladies-CUP for a unknown time.

We would like to thank all of you who have been with us for over 8 years. It was really incredible to have so many international girls in the grid, to have BBQs together after the race or to meet for one or more glasses of sparkling wine or beer.

We'd already like to wish you a crash-free season 2021 and hope to meet each other again in the paddock sometime!

Liebe speedladies, liebe Fans,

ein ziemlich verrücktes Jahr neigt sich dem Ende zu. Die Saison war kurz und die Meisterinnen stehen fest. Es beginnt die Zeit, in der normalerweise die Termine fürs neue Jahr bekanntgegeben werden.

Die letzten Jahre sind leider nicht ganz spurlos an uns vorbei. Sandra hat das Rennfahren vorerst Ende 2019 aufgegeben und nun steht fest, dass auch Heike mindestens für 2021 komplett aussetzen muss.

Wir sehen uns damit aktuell nicht mehr in der Lage, euch ausreichend vor Ort zu begleiten, den Cup weiterzuentwickeln und euch schlussendlich glücklich zu machen. Deswegen haben wir uns entschieden, den speedladies-CUP auf unbestimmte Zeit auszusetzen.

Wir möchten uns bei euch allen bedanken, die über 8 Jahre mit dabei waren. Es war einfach unglaublich, so viele internationale Mädels im Grid stehen zu haben, abends zusammen im Fahrerlager zu grillen oder sich auf das ein oder andere Sektgläschen oder Bier zu treffen.

Wir wünschen euch bereits jetzt eine sturzfreie Saison 2021 und hoffen, wir sehen uns irgendwann einmal wieder im Fahrerlager!

Get pink! For our prize raffling we were could pick up 3 sets of wooden racing knee sliders made by Powerface Holzknieschleifer. But Zeidler Holzkunst do not only produce exceptionally long living knee sliders. The company from the german region "Erzgebirge" are famous for it's wood figures and Christmas decorations, such as pyramids.

The last race of 2020 took place last Saturday at the MotoGP racetrack in Brno. Unfortunately the championship leader Greta could not enter the Czech Republic due to Corona. Lorena won the race of SSP class with a respectable laptime of 2:17,470. Sandra finished second in the race and overtook Greta in the championship standing. 3th place in the race went to Lilly, who also ends up in the 3. place in the championship equal in points with Laura. Sabrina and Michaela (on Yamaha R3) completed the SSP class.

We also missed one of the two leaders in the Open class. So Lisa took her chace and secured the race and championship win again.

After an extreme rain, we were lucky to run through the award ceremony in dry conditions. We now hope that a championship party can take place at the end of this year or beginning of next year.

Now the second race of the season is already history. Many new faces could be found in the starting field. In sunny weather conditions an intensive fight for the crown of the 600 class took place. In the 1000 class we had a very surprised and deserving winner whom we already know from the SSP class.
