MAGNUM OPUS

160 x 400 cm

Oil on canvas

2026

A process, not a conclusion.

This body of work follows the alchemical sequence of transformation through four stages: Nigredo, Albedo, Citrinitas, and Rubedo.
Rather than illustrating these phases, I approach them as psychological states, informed by Jungian thought and filtered through a contemporary painterly language.

Each painting holds a moment within this cycle.
Dissolution, reflection, awakening, integration.

The figures shift between fragmentation and unity.
Between control and surrender.
Between image and symbol.

What appears as narrative is not linear.
It loops.

The cycle does not resolve.
It repeats, each time differently.

OMNIA VINCIT AMOR (Rubedo)♦️

160 × 100 cm
Oil on canvas
2024

After awakening, something becomes whole.

This work is part of my cycle Magnum Opus, approached through Jungian psychology as a process of inner transformation.

Rubedo represents integration.
Not perfection, but unity.

The figure rises.
What was fragmented begins to converge.

Opposites no longer resist each other.
They coexist.

This is the moment where the self is no longer divided.
Where transformation is no longer a process,
but a state.

The cycle does not end.
It turns.

LUX IN TENEBRIS (Citrinitas) 🟡

160 × 100 cm
Oil on canvas
2024

After reflection, light begins to appear.

This work is part of my cycle “Magnum Opus”, approached through Jungian psychology as a symbolic process of inner transformation.

Citrinitas represents awakening.
A moment when consciousness begins to emerge from the depths of the unconscious.

The figure lies between sleep and awareness.
Light does not yet the world.
It touches the body first.

This is the threshold where perception changes.
Where darkness no longer conceals,
but reveals.

The process is not complete.
But the direction becomes visible.

SPECULUM ANIMAE (Albedo) ⬜️

160 × 100 cm
Oil on canvas
2026

After dissolution, something begins to reflect.

This work is part of my ongoing cycle Magnum Opus, approached through Jungian psychology as a process of inner transformation.

Albedo represents a moment of purification.
Not clarity, but reflection.

The figure no longer dissolves.
It begins to perceive.

Water appears.
Light does not yet shine, it mirrors.

This is the space of the anima,
a threshold between what is known
and what begins to emerge.

Nothing is resolved.
But something becomes visible. 👀

UMBRA DEVORANS (Nigredo) ⚫️

160 × 100 cm
Oil on canvas
2026

The beginning is not light.
It is dissolution.

This work is part of my ongoing cycle “Magnum Opus”, which I approach through as a process of inner transformation.

Nigredo represents the collapse of identity.
A confrontation with the .
A moment where control dissolves and something unknown takes over.

The image does not depict darkness, it emerges from it.

Beauty becomes unstable.
Form begins to break.
The self is no longer whole.

This is not destruction.
It is a condition for transformation.

Horse Overdose 🐴
125 x 60 cm
Acrylic, airbrush, spray paint & oil stick on canvas
2025

Throughout history, the horse has carried meanings of power, movement, conquest and devotion.
A companion, a tool, a symbol, always caught between freedom and obedience.
Here, the archetype drifts into a dreamlike state where strength builds beyond measure
and excess turns into a quiet, necessary collapse that allows something new to begin. 😏

What do you see first: the horse 🐎, the moon🌛 or the rain ☔️?
