After our summer break, we're happy to announce that our regular International Social Club is coming back!

This is a relaxed and friendly meetup for people from all different nationalities and backgrounds living in or around the Polis and Paphos region.

No formal networking, no agenda, and no pressure — just an opportunity to meet people in person, have a chat, make new friends and become part of the growing international community.

🌍 Whether you're new to the area or have been living here for years, everyone is welcome!

🌿 Social Business Club – Treffen im September? 🌿

Nach unserer Sommerpause freuen wir uns darauf, den Social Business Club im September wieder ins Leben zu rufen!

Bevor wir den Termin endgültig bestätigen, möchten wir gerne wissen, wie groß das Interesse an unserem ersten Treffen im September ist:

📅 Samstag, 5. September
🕓 16:00 – 19:00 Uhr
📍 Magic Oak, Polis Chrysochous
💶 15 € pro Person

Der Social Business Club bietet die Möglichkeit, lokale und internationale Unternehmer, Geschäftsleute, Fachkräfte, Handwerker, Dienstleister und Selbstständige aus der Region Polis und Paphos kennenzulernen.

Es geht um echte Gespräche und echte Kontakte – darum, herauszufinden, wer hier vor Ort was macht, Erfahrungen auszutauschen und die Menschen hinter den Unternehmen und Dienstleistungen in unserer Gemeinschaft persönlich kennenzulernen.

Wie bei unserem letzten Treffen gibt es eine Teilnahmegebühr von 15 € pro Person, inklusive eines Begrüßungsgetränks und Snacks.

📌 Eine Voranmeldung (RSVP) ist erforderlich, damit wir die Sitzplätze, das Catering und die Teilnehmerzahl entsprechend planen können.

After our summer break, we're looking forward to bringing the Social Business Club back in September!

Before we confirm the date, we'd like to find out how much interest there is for our first September meetup:

📅 Saturday, 5th September
🕓 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
📍 Magic Oak, Polis Chrysochous
💶 €15 per person

The Social Business Club is an opportunity to meet local and international entrepreneurs, business owners, professionals, craftsmen, tradespeople, handymen and service providers from the Polis and Paphos regions.

It's about real conversations and real connections – finding out who is doing what locally, exchanging experiences, and getting to know the people behind the businesses and services in our community.

As with our previous event, there will be a small €15 participation fee, including a welcome drink and snacks.

📌 RSVP is essential so that we can plan the seating, catering and number of participants.

Gestaltet die nächste Social-Club-Saison mit! 🌍🤝

Während wir eine kleine Sommerpause einlegen und uns im September wieder treffen, würde ich sehr gerne **eure Ideen, Vorschläge und ehrliches Feedback** zu unseren Social Clubs hören.

Die Idee hinter diesen Treffen war von Anfang an ganz einfach: Menschen zusammenbringen, Verbindungen schaffen und eine stärkere Gemeinschaft aufbauen.

Derzeit gibt es zwei unterschiedliche Formate:

🌍 International Social Club
Ein freundliches, ungezwungenes Treffen, bei dem alle Nationalitäten, Sprachen und Hintergründe willkommen sind. Im Mittelpunkt steht einfach, Menschen kennenzulernen, miteinander ins Gespräch zu kommen, neue Freundschaften zu schließen und sich als Teil der Gemeinschaft zu fühlen.

💼 Social Business Club
Ein Treffpunkt für Unternehmer, Geschäftsinhaber, Selbstständige, Freiberufler, Berufstätige und alle, die sich für Business interessieren, um sich kennenzulernen, Ideen auszutauschen, Kontakte zu knüpfen und vielleicht auch neue Möglichkeiten zu entdecken.

Aber jetzt möchte ich eure Meinung hören.

Was würde dieses Treffen für euch interessanter, nützlicher oder unterhaltsamer machen?

💡 Was würdet ihr gerne häufiger sehen?
💡 Gibt es Dinge, die wir eurer Meinung nach verändern sollten?
💡 Wünscht ihr euch Referenten, Diskussionen, Workshops oder Networking-Aktivitäten?
💡 Gibt es Themen, die wir gemeinsam behandeln sollten?
💡 Und vor allem: Was funktioniert eurer Meinung nach noch nicht so gut, wie es könnte?

Habt keine Angst, auch kritisch zu sein. 😊

Konstruktive Kritik ist ausdrücklich willkommen, denn der Sinn einer Gemeinschaft besteht darin, dass sie mit der Gemeinschaft und nicht nur für die Gemeinschaft gestaltet wird.

Bevor wir also mit der Planung der September-Treffen beginnen, würde ich mich sehr über eure Gedanken und Vorschläge freuen.

Help Us Shape the Next Social Club Season 🌍🤝

As we take a little summer break before reconvening in September, I would love to hear your ideas, suggestions and honest feedback about our Social Clubs.

The idea behind these meetings has always been simple: bringing people together, creating connections and building a stronger community.

We currently have two different formats:

🌍 International Social Club (free event)
A friendly, informal gathering where all nationalities, languages and backgrounds are welcome. The focus is simply on meeting people, having conversations, making new friends and feeling part of the community.

💼 Social Business Club (paid event)
A meeting place for entrepreneurs, business owners, freelancers, professionals and people interested in business to meet each other, exchange ideas, create connections and potentially discover new opportunities.

But now I would like to hear from you.

What would make these meetings more interesting, useful or enjoyable?

💡 What would you like to see more of?
💡 Are there things you think we should change?
💡 Would you like speakers, discussions, workshops or networking activities?
💡 Are there topics you would like us to explore?
💡 And most importantly, what isn't working as well as it could?

Constructive criticism is welcome, because the whole point of a community is that it should be created with the community, not just for the community.

🌿 A Little Summer Break – We'll Be Back in September! 🌿

After some great gatherings over the past few months, we've decided to take a short break during August.

As many people are away on their summer holidays and August is a busy travel month, we've decided to resume both the International Social Club and the International Social Business Club in September.

This will give everyone the opportunity to return from their holidays refreshed and ready to reconnect, meet new people, and continue building our wonderful community.

We're already looking forward to welcoming both familiar and new faces back in Polis with more relaxed social evenings, meaningful conversations, and valuable networking opportunities.

Unser erster International Social Business Club war eine großartige Gelegenheit, lokale und internationale Unternehmer, Selbstständige, Freiberufler und Fachkräfte in einer entspannten und einladenden Atmosphäre zusammenzubringen.
