I offer art courses at the heart of Paphos, Old Town Constantinou Kanari 40 Ibrahim Khan 8010 Born and raised in Iran-Tehran, Persian artist Elham Razani’s work is rooted in hyper-realism but extends to a dynamic interplay between iridescent shades of deep blues and moody crimsons that are rich in emotion but delicate in their precision. Moving gracefully in a vibrant dance between her internal world and external expression, her work exhibits control and freedom in equal measure. As real as it is symbolic. Razani has moved from portraiture, to figurative expression to whimsical abstraction and emerging expressions of her Persian heritage and further extending into 3D on canvas. The titles of her work, poems in themselves, invite the viewer to engage in the narrative of each painting which illuminates a layering of experience in fluid conversation between abstraction and realism.
