Music style that this band have created western critics call Rock’n”Roma which probably best reflects their music. From 2006, when they started their career, to the present, the band has played over 400 concerts. The band has performed at the most important local, Europe and world festivals and achieved a remarkable career in Europe. It is quite enough to say that they have played on festivals suc
h as Roskilde in Denmark, Fusion Festival in Berlin, Pepsi Sziget Festival in Budapest and local EXIT Festival. The band visited the USA in 2006. and in 2008. when has toured the most important clubs such as Joe’s pub in New York where the most significant world musicians, like Leonard Cohen, David Byrne, Richard Thompson, Dolly Parton, Sinead O’Connor, Norah Jones, Youssou N’Dour, David Gilmore had their performances. On its USA 2008. tour, where they played 45 concerts, the band has realized a cooperation with Gogoll Bordell, one of New York's most famous music attractions, who had played, among other things, with Madonna on Global Warming in London. The producer of both their albums is Mike Nielsen, known for cooperation with the greatest the world's greatest music attractions such as: Underworld, Snow Patroll, The Cure, Jamiroquai, Snow Patroll, etc. At the prestigious World Music Chart Europe KAL Band reached top two places leaving behind bands like: Gotan Project, Natasha Atlas, Ojos de Bruho. They were on a third place at the same chart on an annual basis in 2006., what any of band from this region hasn`t achieved. On domestic scene, the band collaborated with Rambo Amadeus on two tracks, Dikh Tu Kava and Comedy, for which they received the award Davorin Popovic for best music video in the region of ex-Yugoslavia in 2007-year. O the last album they collaborated with rapper Marcello on a song Krasnokalipsa. KAL Band music videos are very recognizable by special aesthetic and are running on all local TV stations at the present, of which we have to mention MTV Adria as a representative of excellence in the field of music television. KAL is the only band in the region that has been selected among over a 1000 of bands from around the world to play at the most important world music fair, at Spanish WOMEX in 2006.
