Bilo mi je veliko zadovoljstvo da ilustrujem omot za Blu-ray Mediabook izdanje akcionog klasika “No Retreat, No Surrender 2 - Raging Thunder” (1987) za nemačko tržište. Film u kome je tada mladi Loren Avedon ostavio snažan pečat i postavio nove standarde u borilačkom žanru, rame uz rame sa čuvenom Sintijom Rotrok. Poseban šarm filmu daje i Matthias Hues u ulozi opakog negativca, protiv koga su morali da udruže snage.

Ovaj nastavak nadovezuje se na kultni film iz 1986. u kome je Žan Klod Van Dam prvi put zablistao na velikom platnu – i sve ostalo je istorija.

It was a great pleasure for me to illustrate the cover for the exclusive Blu-ray Mediabook release of the action classic No Retreat, No Surrender 2 – Raging Thunder (1987) for the German market. A film in which the then-young Loren Avedon left a strong mark and set new standards in the martial arts genre, side by side with the legendary Cynthia Rothrock. Adding a special charm to the movie is Matthias Hues in the role of a ruthless villain, against whom they had to join forces.

This sequel continues the legacy of the cult 1986 film, in which Jean-Claude Van Damme first shone on the big screen – and the rest is history.

Kad me hvali Keith Vitali 💥 Wooho ✊ Veoma mi znači što je moju ilustraciju za "No Retreat, No Surrender 3" pohvalio legendarni Keith Vitali, jedan od najuspešnijih američkih karatista i zvezda borilačkih filmova iz osamdesetih i devedesetih i veliki prijatelj Čaka Norisa.

Na ilustraciji za Blu-Ray Mediabook ekskluzivno izdanje, za nemačko tržište, Keith Vitali je rame uz rame sa genijalnim Lorenom Avedonom i Rionom Hunterom.

Ovo priznanje mi je posebno dragoceno, jer su i ranije moj umetnički rad javno podržali Žan-Klod Van Dam, Phillip Rhee, Jeff Speakman i druge istinske legende borilačkog žanra osamdesetih i devedesetih, uz koje sam i sam odrastao. Kada takvi velikani prepoznaju i cene ono što radim, to za mene nije samo priznanje već ostvarenje jednog dečačkog sna.

Bilo mi je veliko zadovoljstvo da ilustrujem omot za Blu-ray Mediabook izdanje filma “No Retreat, No Surrender 3 - Blood Brothers” (1990) za nemačko tržište. U ovom nastavku jedinstveni Loren Avedon još jednom dokazuje da je pravo osveženje u žanru, rame uz rame sa vrhunskim majstorom borilačkih veština Kitom Vitalijem.

Nasuprot njima stoje nemilosrdni protivnici koje su tumačili Rion Hunter i Mark Russo. Njihove uloge donose dodatnu težinu i dramatičnost svakoj borbi.

Ovaj deo predstavlja pravi dragulj borilačkog žanra s kraja osamdesetih i početka devedesetih, vreme kada su akcioni klasici ostavljali neizbrisiv trag.

It was a great pleasure for me to illustrate the cover for the Blu-ray Mediabook edition of No Retreat, No Surrender 3 – Blood Brothers (1990) for the German market. In this sequel, the one and only Loren Avedon once again proves to be a true breath of fresh air in the genre, standing shoulder to shoulder with martial arts master Keith Vitali.

Opposite them are the ruthless opponents portrayed by Rion Hunter and Mark Russo, whose performances bring extra weight and intensity to every fight.

This installment stands as a true gem of the martial arts genre from the late ’80s and early ’90s – a time when action classics left an indelible mark.

Veliko mi je zadovoljstvo što sam imao priliku da ilustrujem omot za kultni film “The Sword of Bushido” (1990) sa legendarnim Richardom Nortonom, koji nas je, nažalost, napustio ove godine. Ovaj naslov zauzima posebno mesto u detinjstvu moje generacije. Ilustracija će krasiti ekskluzivno Blu-ray Mediabook izdanje za nemačko tržište.

It is a great pleasure for me to have had the opportunity to illustrate the cover for the cult film “The Sword of Bushido” (1990) featuring the legendary Richard Norton, who sadly passed away earlier this year. This title holds a special place in the childhood of my generation. The illustration will grace the exclusive Blu-ray Mediabook edition for the German market.
