Wrapping up this striped marlin for a client. This one is headed to a crew of fishing buddies, and if you ask me, there’s no better gift than a piece like this.

18 Reeler, a 97’ Weaver, is an absolute fishing machine with a crew that’s as hardcore as they come.

Nothing makes me happier than seeing my artwork go to people who pursue these billfish at the level that these guys do it at🤙🏾🤙🏾🫡🫡

Fishing came first, Art came second, both serve a special place in my heart. My passion changed from getting the bite myself, to putting others on fish, now I get a kick out of bringing their catch to life. These paintings are worth a thousand words and represent days of hard work for that one moment. THE BITE.

The results after wrangling this tuna painting on a paper I'm not super familiar with. Any moisture this paper rips so I had to be super delicate in everything I did. Tell you what tho, I love the results!

Looking for that right bite has been a lifelong obsession. Days of hard work with nothing to show for it only fuels the fire that tomorrow could be the day. Those moments become the memories you’ll take with you forever and these paintings become a direct connection to that victory.

That bite never came but some by catch allowed us to create that connection. A fun day with a good friend .picardo 📸
