Rare visitors have returned to Yellow Sea Wetlands 🎉🎉🎉
During a routine bird survey along Haidi Road in Dafeng District, Yancheng, Xu Xing, a volunteer with the Yancheng Bird-watching Association, spotted a flock of seven Glossy Ibis, setting a new record for the largest number of the species ever observed in Jiangsu Province.

First wild Crested Ibis chicks hatched on China's eastern coast! 🦩
On May 6-7, two chicks successfully broke out of their shells at Yancheng Wetlands, Jiangsu — a historic first for the region. Four pairs nested naturally, laying 12 eggs in total.
A major win for wetland conservation and endangered species recovery.
