One of the many things that I love about the USA is that so many many parks have kept hold of their historic kiddie coasters 😍

This absolute beauty of an Allan Herschell Little Dipper can be found at Quassy, and dates back to 1952 🀯

That makes it a 74 year old steel kiddie coaster, and that's quite impressive!

And what's even more impressive is the condition of the ride, with the team at the park taking real good care of it! Just how beautiful is that train? 🀩

What a little stunner this really is ❀️

It's so impressive that they managed to squeeze such a monster of a coaster inside this building, and probably even more impressive that they then designed a spinning coaster to wrap around it 😍

But overall the ride experience on TMNT Shellraiser isn't a great one πŸ€•

As always with Euro-Fighters, the back row was better, but the front row during the second half was pretty brutal!

First half was actually alright, but those valleys after the main drop really did have that horrible judder that just sends such a striking pain feeling through my head. My head didn't even bang against the restraint or anything, but those violent bumps really are so aggressive!

In comparison to Takabisha, it's definitely more painful. I was prepared for the worst before my first ride on Takabisha, and I'll never forget getting off at the end being totally shocked that I didn't have a migraine πŸ˜† So much so I ended up riding it 5 times πŸ˜†

Don't get me wrong, Takabisha is still a Euro-Fighter, so it's still not perfect, but it's more enjoyable πŸ’•

TMNT also isn't helped by the line up around it. If you ride it first and get a head ache, riding 2 pretty aggressive spinning coasters after isn't going to help you πŸ˜†

I feel like I've been far too negative here and I don't like it, so for balance, I do still enjoy TMNT, (I mean I went for a reride so it couldn't have been THAT bad). It's a mightily impressive coaster to look at, in either location, with Mount Fuji in the back ground or with the mass of coaster track in the shed.

One plus that TMNT has over Takabisha is the very cool near miss from the track of Shredder as you go down the steep drop! It's such a cool visual as you're being held at the top, as it genuinely looks like you're gonna hit that purple track πŸ’•

Manual brakes are still used on this legendary 99 year old roller coaster 😍

It's nice to see that so many of the old skool features of the Coney Island Cyclone are still in use, inclunding the manual brake levers πŸ’ͺ

This absolute iconic opened up at Coney Island, New York in 1927, so it's incredibly special year is soon going to be here πŸ₯³

If you've been following me for long enough you'll know that I always give honest reviews. My opinions are never swayed by trends or even my own previous experiences.

I always going into every experience with an open mind, even when it comes to a wooden coaster with Timberliners πŸ‘€πŸ˜πŸ˜†

But actually, Roar-O-Saurus at Story Land is EXCELLENT πŸ™Œ

I've now done all of these baby Gravity Group/Kraft woodies, and Roar-O-Saurus definitely rates as one of the, if not the best one, for me! And despite it being 14 years old, it was running great!

It still had the usual shuffling back and forth that comes with these trains, and it was definitely a boneshaker, but that's how a wild little woodie should be! So much airtime on this super compact little layout 😍

And the train design is absolutely adorable πŸ€©πŸ˜†

It's a top little woodie in my opinion πŸ™Œ

Ahh, the famous SBNO Schwarzkopf 😫

This beautiful Schwarzkopf Jet Star 1 got build up at Winnoland in 2017 and has SBNO ever since 😭

Apparently they didn't want to operate it with a manual brake system...

The coaster is up for sale, and despite being SBNO for like 9 years, it is in good condition! So fingers crossed it will find a new home/owner at some point πŸ’•

Now it's time for a new park! πŸ₯³

Just 45 minutes from Disneyland is Winnoland, a small family run park that's opened a brand new Vekoma Kalypso coaster for 2026 πŸ™Œ
