So in general I've had a pretty good day at Six Flags Darien Lake 💕

Although I feel like the park ranks towards the bottom of my list of SF parks. Whilst the lack of stand out coasters wasn't an issue, the overall appearance of the park was. It just feels quite unloved, and despite Boomerang and Mind Eraser looking fantastic with nice bright colours, presentation around them and most of the park, looked a bit poor.

So many empty ride plots or just areas fenced off, along with the SBNO Rapids ride and Viper. I assume the rapids have been officially removed as they no longer feature on the map, but the ride is still definitely still there for all of us to see!

Add in single train ops on almost all coasters, and it doesn't leave a good taste in your mouth. (To their credit, the staff on the rides were working pretty hard)

At $49.99, Fast Lane was a no brainer for me, and definitely came to my rescue, allowing me to get many rides in 💪

I'll go into more detail properly when I'm home, but for now; I did have a good day, but I hope when I eventually return (for Viper) that the park will be in better shape 💕

So today I've been on my first woodie that's officially transitioned into a steelie, and I have to say that experience is.... odd 😆

Predator at Six Flags Darien Lake has now got like 80% of it's layout covered in GCI's Titan track 😫

I will always give credit where it's due - GCI have done an incredible job with just how glassy smooth it is. But it's just not for me. It made the ride experience quite tame and uneventful, even though it did have some nice pops of airtime.

The final stretch of track is still wood and GOODNESS ME don't you know it 😆

If that's what the whole ride was like beforehand, I can see why they did the work, but wood should remain wood in my opinion.

And for me the worst thing here is that Predator actually has a really neat little layout, and a gorgeous setting right by the water 💕

Mind: officially Erased 😆

This Vekoma SLC might well look beautiful, and it might well have the new vest restraint trains, but front row rides still HIT HARD 🫨😆

Always happy to tick off another Intamin roller coaster 🙌

The Ride of Steel clones get a lot of stick from enthusiasts, but I really enjoy them for what they are: a nice mixture of airtime and high speed turns!

Being from the UK, an early start is almost a guarantee on the first morning over here, so I figured that would be the perfect time to head to a tourist hotspot! 💪

As beautiful as it is, it did make me sad seeing the S&D combo tower from the closed Marineland 😫

Rolls Royce Trent XWB-97 THRASH 💪🤩😆

In case you didn't know, I'm also a bit of an aviation nerd! I absolutely love flying, and I'm always just as excited for the flight as I am the roller coasters! 😆

I'm currently on Virgin Atlantic's A350-1041, Wendy Darling 💕

Despite flying with Virgin on a semi-regular basis, this is only my second flight on one of their A350's! Although I am a Dreamliner girl at heart, so I'm not too bothered about it 😆
