African Women’s Day is celebrated on July 31 each year to commemorate the founding of the Pan-African Women’s Organization and to honor the contributions of African women to the continent’s liberation and socio-economic transformation. In recognition of African Women’s Day 2025, the International Intellectual Property Commercialization Council (IIPCC) Cameroon, in collaboration with the EIP Africa platform, is organizing a high-level webinar under the above theme. This event draws on the day’s spirit of celebrating African women’s achievements and serves as a platform to further their empowerment in the realms of innovation, intellectual property (IP), and enterprise.
