UNITY IN DIVERSITY ❤️🤝

Kom has always been a home for people from different backgrounds, tribes, and beliefs. One example is the Bororo community, with over 1,000 in number peacefully living across Komland, especially in the upper parts of our hills.

Today, led by Amadu Yaya, the Bororo community joined the rest of Kom to pay their final respects to the late Fon and to celebrate the enthronement of the new Fon, HRM Kini Joseph.

Their presence is a powerful reminder that Kom has never been about judging people by their tribe, religion, politics, or skin colour. We are united by mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and our shared humanity.

Thank you, Bororo community, for standing with the land during this historic moment. Together, we remain stronger.

Our Fon has gone to be with the ancestors. 🕊️
Today, Kom mourns. The throne that has held our history, our pride, and our identity for generations now sits in silence. Our Fon has "disappeared" — as our custom teaches us, a true Fon never dies, he simply travels on.
The palace at Laikom will never feel the same, but the legacy, the wisdom, and the culture he protected will live in every child of Kom.
Rest well, our father. The sun may have dimmed today, but your light stays with us forever.
Kom is my roots. Kom will always be home. 🙏🏾
