His Majesty has extended a motion of thanks to the Membea Bokwaongo vigilante who rescued a fifty year old woman and her nine year old son who had been beaten by the torrential rains.
Hungry,tired and unable to return to village from the farm along the mountain slopes,the vigilante was alerted to rescue them.

His Majesty reiterates his support to the vigilante and reiterates the following:

1.Avoid sleeping in the farms.

2.Avoid going to the farm in a very rainy day.

3.The crackdown on theft in farms has been intensified.

Our sincere congratulations to our daughter Claris Ekombi Likowo who today defended her thesis at the National Forestry School Mbalmayo as a Senior Forestry Technician.
This is fruit of her dedication and perseverance all through her stay in the Chief town of the Nyong and So'o division.

Membea Bokwaongo is even more proud of the 19/20 score she got after focusing her defence on the topic "Ecotourism potential and the contribution to the sustainable management of the Mount Cameroon National Park:The case of Buea I & II clusters"

The Bishop of the Diocese of Mamfe His Lordship Aloysius Fondong Abangalo has just confirmed to me the passing away of our own Bishop Emeritus Francis Teke Lysinge,first mokpe to be appointed Roman Catholic Bishop in history.
It is a sad moment for us as a community but we are grateful to God and Our Ancestors for the life he lived,for his creator he served with passion and devotion and humanity he served with humility.
I hereby urge the people of Membea Bokwaongo and the entire Membea community to pray for the repose of his soul.

Rain suits, rain boats and other kits have been handed to members of the Bokwaongo Vigilanté.
The kits were handed to them recently by His Majesty Albert Njie Mbonde in the presence of HRH Dione Flavie Njie Mbonde,some Quarter Heads and members of the traditional council.

Courtesy visit of some exco members of the association of young traditional rulers to His Majesty AJANEYA Albert Njie Mbonde.

The association President, His Majesty Mvogo Jean Blaise of Odoudouma 2 in Awae subdivision was accompanied by His Majesties Belaka Mahaman Salissou of Mbella Assoum in Tibati subdivision and Beckley Nangoh Kwami of Monde In Buea subdivision.
Prospects of growing the young association were discussed.
