Everyone knows Genesis today, few know the woman who was there before the fame.

Before Brendaline, Genesis Nkwagoh from Bambalang was cared for by a man in his community. She has no blood tie to him, yet she became one of the most important people in his life.

She ran a small business in Ndop, and Genesis would often come by hungry. She never turned him away. When she moved to Bamenda, Genesis searched for her and eventually tracked her down there.

“If this was my own child, I wouldn’t abandon him,” she told herself. She and her brother took him in, while his father also helped support him. They made sure he got treatment for his fainting condition and stayed on his medication. Genesis, never one to stay idle, sold Omo detergent to earn his own living.

Brendaline also shared that many people had used Genesis’s content without asking. Sam Joker, she said, was the first to come to her properly, seek permission, and set up his official pages.

The money he earned first went to clothes, with the rest helping grow his Omo business. Brendaline says she’s grateful for what Sam Joker has done and happy to see Genesis’s life improving.

Sometimes the greatest love comes not from family, but from people who simply choose to care.

The Ayah Foundation, led by Cameroonian philanthropist Ayah Ayah Abine, has donated 250,000 CFA francs to Genesis, the viral Human Calculator, and his manager Sam Joker, to kickstart their travel documents for international opportunities.

The Foundation says more support is coming to help Genesis pursue education, career, and exhibition opportunities at home and abroad, stressing that his gift shouldn’t just trend online but turn into real success.

They also addressed concerns over Genesis’ health, pledging further help once details on his medical needs are available , and are urging him to pair his talent with education for even bigger opportunities ahead.
