I’m getting ready to do an interview about my career break, and of course I’m thinking about all of the fabulous places I went.

One of the biggest misconceptions about taking a career sabbatical is that you have to have a TON of money to make it happen.

So 👏🏾not 👏🏾true!

Your funds don’t have to dictate your experiences. I stayed at many dope hostels were the decor, food, and vibe all felt luxurious but at a very reasonable price.

This phase of my travel life is going to look different. More suitcase, less backpack. Shorter trips and a real need for stable Wifi! But I’m excited for it all!

Hey, y'all! I have no idea what next year will hold, but I'm feeling optimistic. I spent this year focusing my creativity in other ways and honestly, rebuilding my relationship with myself especially in relation to my creative identity. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Don’t save your good panties....🙈 *
I heard a blogger I follow say that a few years ago in reference for not stocking things away for the “perfect” time. That was this year to me. There were so many days that felt like I was wading in the water to nowhere, but on the days when I felt good, when I got to safely get out, I was tempted to not have with it. After all, who was going to see me? But efff it. Every moment is worth celebrating and looking good for in its own way. Cheers to having hope for 2021, y’all! Wear the good panties and make it a good ass day. 😜🥂💃🏽
