BEA 2026 is open 🎉
Together with guests from politics and culture, including Federal Councillor Guy Parmelin, we marked the opening of this year’s fair.

At the heart of our presence is a simple idea: music has value. Through our sound showers, we invite visitors to experience the diversity of Swiss music and raise awareness for the work behind it.

The opening was accompanied by a live performance from our ambassador Melanie Oesch together with her family band Oesch’s die Dritten. The musical act was presented by SUISA.

Because behind every song are creators who deserve to be recognised and fairly remunerated.

Meet Toni Falzetta, newly appointed member of SUISA’s Executive Committee.

We present Claudia Kempf, newly appointed member of SUISA’s Executive Committee.

In the video, Claudia explains why she is wholeheartedly committed to SUISA: to ensure that authors and composers receive a fair share in the success of their works, to promote cultural diversity, and to uphold effective rights management.

Today, SUISA’s Board of Directors has appointed Claudia Kempf and Toni Falzetta as new members of the Executive Committee. With effect from 1 January 2027, they will assume responsibility for the “Members” and “Customers” departments respectively. They will succeed Chief Operating Officer Irène Philipp Ziebold, who will retire at the end of 2026.

With these appointments, the Board is placing its trust in two in-house leaders with proven industry expertise.

The SUISA panel at this year’s 360° ENTERTAINMENT in Andermatt highlighted why music authors must be remunerated in a fair manner for their creative work.

Following the panel, Swiss singer-songwriter .marleen delighted the audience with a showcase gig.

Apply now if you are a SUISA member and want to participate in the SUISA Songwriting Camp 2026, entering a new era under the artistic direction of Dana Burkhard ( .ch ) and Tom Oehler ( ) .
The SUISA Songwriting Camp has already produced songs like “The Code” by Nemo, “She Got Me” by Luca Hänni or “House On Fire” by Linda Elys 🎹🎶 Now the focus is on tailor-made songs for releasing artists – created to match real projects and maximise their chances of release.
The closing date for applications is 29 March 2026 📅
The camp will take place from 9–11 June 2026 at Powerplay Studios ( ) in Maur near Zurich.
