The Eastern Quartet is an ensemble formed in 2019 with a great desire for innovation, overcoming musical and cultural boundaries, as well as a big passion and respect for classical music and not only.

Happy after a wonderful concert at the Antique Theater in Plovdiv 🎵

This was the last concert from the Mystery and Freedom project, that brought joy to the hearts of thousands of people who attended the concerts in Sofia, Varna, Damascena and Plovdiv.

Special thanks to Maestro Yordan Kamdzhalov for directing the whole project, to Sofi Marinova for her unique voice and charm and to the GENESIS ORCHESTRA and Muzikalna Музикална лаборатория за Човека - Хор / Music Laboratory for the Human Self for musically supporting the whole foundation of the project.

Last but not least, we, The Eastern Quartet: Atanas Marinov, Seraphim von Werra and Sorin Spasinovici, are happy to have been the heart of Mystery and Freedom and to have collaborated so well with the above mentioned artists and we hope for future projects at least as beautiful as this one.

The story goes on! Stay tuned for upcoming concerts, projects and recordings from us!

4th concert and 2026 Bulgarian Tour: Done ✅

What an amazing tour we've had! We started on the northern Bulgarian Black Sea shore, in Balchik, playing at the Balchik Classic Days, then we followed the sea shore further south to Burgas, performing at the Flora Expositional Center Експозиционен център Флора Бургас.
Then we went to the capital, Sofia, to play at In The Mood Jazz Club and we had our grand finale deep in the mountains at the International Jazz Festival Dr. Emil Iliev in Borovets.

All 4 concerts full house and in all of them creating a special connection with the audience.

We would like to thank to all the organisers for the invitation and for providing all the conditions we needed, to each member of the audience who came to our concerts and last but not least, to Atanas Marinov who made all this possible.

Now we are looking forward to the finale of our Mystery and Freedom project, in Plovdiv in the Antique Theater on the 10th of August together with Maestro Yordan Kamdzhalov , Sofi Marinova , GENESIS ORCHESTRA and the Музикална лаборатория за Човека - Хор / Music Laboratory for the Human Self
