This one is SOLD 💫
I realised that I have never posted a finished version of this artwork. From time to time I paint a storm weather, but always with a streak of light. Why? Because when you feel uncomfortable, never forget that there’s a light behind the clouds. Don’t lose sight of that!

This one was inspired of a very special moment in Euskadi (Basque Country). You can see it on the last photo.

„Jesus died for somebody’s sins, but not mine“

I recently opened a magazine and saw a portrait of a young Patti Smith. OMG so pretty 😍 (she still is). Frankly, I did not really know her or listen to her songs. So I looked up her story. Very interesting, and I also liked that she worked as a bookseller despite her international success as a musician.

I cut it out and made a collage. The blue is of course the color of a free spirit and I guess that’s what she is. And somehow mysterious, hence the look outside of a foggy ivory white.

Acrylic on paper, fits in a 50x70 frame with a passepartout. Interested? DM me.

I am sure my ⭕️ paintings (I named them Halo Series) are developing in the right direction. I would love to get a commission in a large scale; what you see here is a photomontage.
