正值香港藝術發展局舉辦首屆香港演藝博覽（HKPAX），藝術資訊中心同期展出一系列表演藝術檔案藏書及資料，讓訪客透過劇場攝影、圖像、書籍和專題文章，探索香港的表演藝術概況。中心亦設有互動遊戲，讓訪客認識有關表演藝術的小知識，並獲得小禮物，送完即止！🎁

Theatre In and Out: exploring Hong Kong performing arts in archives

Apart from attending performance, have you been aware of the records of on-stage and backstage of performing arts in Hong Kong?

As part of the inaugural Hong Kong Performing Arts Expo (HKPAX), organised by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, the Arts Information Centre displays a collection of books and archival information on performing arts, and invites visitors to explore Hong Kong’s performing arts through theatre photography, images, books and featured articles. Visitors may also take part in an interactive game to learn fun facts about performing arts, and may receive a souvenir while stocks last! 🎁

一個空間 多重藝術體驗

香港藝術發展局黃竹坑新址於去年七月正式啟用。過去一年內，藝發局於多用途藝術空間「展藝館」先後舉辦了《南區旁注》展覽，三個演出節目 —《漁生請你指教》南音故事劇場、《創》爵士音樂會、《寂靜喧動》跨媒介舞蹈演出，以及一系列教育及社區活動。透過不同形式的藝術觀賞及體驗活動，讓大眾認識及欣賞本地藝術家的創作，同時帶領區內、區外人士以多角度了解黃竹坑，以至南區的過去與現在，讓藝術走進大家的生活。

Diverse Arts Experiences at SHOWCASE

Hong Kong Arts Development Council's new premises in Wong Chuk Hang opened in last July. In the past year, Marginal Notes exhibition and three performances— Naamyam Theatre "To Meet You in a Briny Sea", Jazz Concert “Originals and Fusions", and Multi-disciplinary Dance Performance "Still, Not Still", as well as a series of educational and community activities were held at the multi-purpose arts space SHOWCASE. These diverse forms of arts appreciation activities and experiences not only allowed the public to understand and appreciate the creations of local artists but also guided people from within and outside the district to learn about the past and present of Wong Chuk Hang and the Southern District from different perspectives.

一同回顧香港藝術發展局新址開幕節目的精彩演出

🎭《漁生請你指教》南音故事劇場：以南音說唱融合戲劇，將水上人乘風破浪，百折不朽的故事娓娓道來。
🎶《創》爵士音樂會：本地爵士鋼琴家張貝芝夥拍本地音樂家，糅合傳統與創新，重新編排多首民謠，徐徐唱出我城的今昔情懷。
🌊林俊浩跨媒介舞蹈作品《寂靜喧動》：結合肢體劇場、中國民族舞、詩句、電子音樂和錄像，講述自身與家的故事。

Throwback to the three amazing performances of the Opening Programme of HKADC's New Premises

🎭Naamyam Theatre "To Meet You in a Briny Sea" unveiled a tale of three generations of a floating family.
🎶Jazz Concert "Originals and Fusions" fused Cantonese folk music with contemporary vibrancy.
🌊Ivanhoe Chun-ho Lam's multi-disciplinary dance performance, "Still, Not Still", merged physical theatre, Chinese dance, poetry, electronic music and video for an immersive experience.

錄像作品《水之時代》中出現多個見證香港漁業興衰起落的地標，你能數出多少個？它們的歷史及發展，你又知道多少？

香港仔船塢：漁業最興盛的六、七十年代，造船修船業亦最蓬勃；其中香港仔於六十年代有超過40間造船廠。
街渡：香港仔街渡是在避風塘內的水上交通，在鴨脷洲大橋建成以前，是居民重要的交通工具。
冰廠：漁船出海，需要大量冰塊將魚穫急凍保鮮，冰廠是漁業的後勤產業。
太白海鮮舫：開業於1950年代， 仿照中國傳統宮廷設計，裝潢豪華，當年曾有說「不到海鮮舫，就不算去過香港」，可見海鮮舫曾經是香港的象徵。
洪聖古廟：約於1773年，由鴨脷洲居民所建，以供奉庇佑漁民和海上商旅的洪聖。

時光荏苒，這些地標見證了香港漁業的變遷。下次遊經香港仔、黃竹坑時，不妨多留意及了解。

The video "The Age of Water" features several landmarks witnessing the rise and fall of Hong Kong's fishing industry. How many can you count, and how much do you know about their history and development?

Aberdeen Shipyards: In the 1960s, Aberdeen had over 40 shipyards, marking the peak of the shipbuilding and repair industry during the prosperous fishing years of the 1960s and 1970s.
Sampan: Before the Ap Lei Chau Bridge, the “Kaito “was a vital water transport service.
Ice Factory: Essential for freezing and preserving the catch, ice factories were crucial to the fishing industry.
Tai Pak Floating Restaurant: Opened in the 1950s with a traditional Chinese palace design, it was an iconic symbol of Hong Kong.
Hung Shing Temple: Built in around 1773 by Ap Lei Chau residents for the worship of Hung Shing, the protector of fishermen and sea traders.

These landmarks witness the changes in Aberdeen's fishing industry. When you visit Wong Chuk Hang and Aberdeen, take a moment to learn about these landmarks.

🎤這裏高山 / 那裏滄海 / 在哪天變良田
🎶實在係話變就變 / 預伏在樂趣前面 / 前面有千變萬化 / 不會睇見

導演及編舞林俊浩在構思《寂靜喧動》及錄像作品《水之時代》期間，深受昔日甄妮所主唱的《明日話今天》啟發。「大海狀態變幻莫測，人生中難免有起有跌，我們可否借鏡漁船上掌舵人的智慧，在風浪中找緊重心，繼續前行又可安全回家？」

《寂靜喧動》舞者韓梅早前於YouTube上分享《明日話今天》，希望大家用心細味歌詞，在充滿迷惘未知的時候，勇敢面對目前。

《水之時代》(節錄)
許多事物都不同了 / 但月亮不變 / 在黑暗的海上
然後我們繼續前進/ 揮手道別/ 再見和謝謝、再見
不要為個人的遺產擔心 / 你們將成為象徵

Director and choreographer Ivanhoe Lam was inspired by an old Canto-pop song by Jenny Tseng, while working on the theatrical production "Still, Not Still" and the video work "The Age of Water".

"Still, Not Still" devising performer, Han Mei recently shared her cover on YouTube.
The song conveys an encouraging message: life inevitably has its ups and downs, and all we can do is to embrace the changes and find the courage to face every present moment.

《寂靜喧動》演出以外

導演及編舞林俊浩，聯同錄像設計及拍攝導演秦紹良製作了錄像作品《水之時代》，以另一媒介，不同角度講述有關大海與變遷的故事。

林俊浩形容：「作品帶大家遊歷一場充滿想像的探索之旅：身處簡陋的船上，無拘束地漂泊於不同時空中，從過去、現在，再到一個未知的未來。載浮載沉，讓我們思考人與家之間的關係和責任。在幻化不定的時代中，哪些價值依然堅定牢固地保存着？」

接下來的帖文，我們將為大家解構藝術家如何透過錄像作品，運用不同方式呈現個人對於海與飄泊的想像。

Along with the theatrical production, director and choreographer Ivanhoe Lam, in collaboration with cinematographer Ziv Chun, produced a video work titled "The Age of Water". This video work uses a different medium and perspective to capture the story of the sea and the ever-changing world.

Ivanhoe described the work: "The piece takes the audience on an imaginative journey of exploration. On a simple, nearly worn-down boat, drifting freely through different times and spaces—from history, to the present, and into an unknown future. In the ebb and flow, we are prompted to reflect on the relationship and responsibilities between people and home. In these ever-changing times, what values remain steadfast and solidly preserved?"

In the upcoming posts, we will explore how artists use video work to present their personal imaginations of the sea and drifting in different medium.

學會記錄當下，梳理思緒，以不同手法保存回憶。

早前，多位參加者參與了七節 「Making Story with Aberdeen」多媒體工作坊及戶外考察活動，學習利用舞蹈構作、錄像攝影、聲音設計及文字創作等不同藝術媒介，敍述自己的故事。
