Excited to be part of the Royal Academy of Music Song Circle this year! Our first recital will take place already tomorrow at lunchtime as part of the Leeds Song concert season, at The Venue of Leeds Conservatoire. Fond memories from my time as a Young Artist there in 2024!

Pianist Alfred Fardell and myself will present a selection of Hugo Wolf’s ‘Mörike-Lieder’ (which we will repeat in Wigmore Hall in the new year on January 18). More information here:

Had a tremendous week together with Barokkanerne, led by Jadran Duncumb, immersed in an exquisite programme with thematic inspiration taken from the masques of the English baroque, and culminating with the Oslo Early music festival opening concert!

What a treat to sing Dowland, Purcell and Gibbons in the University Aula 🤩 Thank you so much for inviting me, and to my excellent fellow singers in the ensemble.

It was wonderful to return to the Oslo Kammermusikkfestival (Oslo Chamber Music Festival) last month, at two beautiful venues! Collaborating with pianist Nils Anders Mortensen was such a rewarding experience, first on songs by Vaughan Williams and Butterworth at Oscarshall palace, followed by a selection of late Schubert songs under the chandeliers at the atmospheric Gamle Logen scene. Special thanks to artistic director Marianne Beate Kielland for programme guidance and introductions to the concerts!

Singing Schubert in a Baroque palace in the Swiss alps - this sounds like a dream to me, but it’s actually my plans for this Sunday🤪

Co-founder of the Rhonefestival für Liedkunst Benjamin Mead - Pianist has invited me to join him in presenting a carefully selected programme at an evening Schubertiade titled “Des Lauf des Lebens” at the Stockalperschloss in Brig.

Enjoyable collaborations with fellow RAM student Alfred Fardell (piano) last week! First we won the Marjorie Thomas Art of Song Prize for best overall recital at the RAM. Then we had a blast performing in a Fauré song masterclass at the esteemed Wigmore Hall, where we got heaps of valuable feedback from Malcolm Martineau. The whole session was recorded, so please check out the YouTube link in the first comment below. Very happy to end the semester on a high note! 🥳

During my time in London, I have enjoyed the world class concert programming at Wigmore Hall as often as I could. So I am particularly pleased to get the chance to go on stage there myself on Wednesday! I will be singing in a Fauré Song masterclass held by Malcolm Martineau, starting at 1pm. Congratulations to everyone involved in the fabulous Oslo Chamber Music Festival in August this year! Warm thanks to artistic director Marianne Beate Kielland for inviting me to be part of this 🙏 It was such a treat to do concerts with Christian Grøvlen, Natallia Papova, Henning Kraggerud and Oslo String Quartet!
